A friend of mine whose mother died recently was going through her parents memorabilia and unearthed a Western Union telegram from 1954 that her father sent her mother just before they married. Heres what it said:
Darling, I shall be waiting for you at eight. With a lifetime of expectancy. My heart will be coming with you down the aisle. May God be with us tonight as we pray we will always be with Him. Thank you for becoming my wife. My love forever yours, Henry
Several days after Id read this note, I came across this miserable tripe on Facebook: Chivalry is harmful to both men and women, relays the woman in the video. because it reinforces this idea that women need to be helped or saved by a stronger man. And it takes away a womans agency.
The video is part of an "Unpopular Opinion" series on Facebook, a concept that in theory Id support. But theres nothing unpopular about a video that sells the same tired message feminists have sold for years and subsequently became the status quo: that men and women are equal and should therefore be treated the same.
Women can open their own doors, pull out their own chairs and take care of themselves, women have argued for years. Im strong enough to do all these things, notes the woman in the video, who identifies herself as Emily Panic, as she flexes her arm muscles to viewers.

“Leftist females killed chivalry and made men grovel to them in the workplace, academia and schools. Sex robots are about to deprive them of men completely. enjoy the vibrators, womyn!”
I have been extremely lucky I guess. Over a 33 year combined military/federal government career, of all the bosses I had three were women...one black. They couldn’t have been nicer and it was a pleasure to work for them. I was admittedly a little “hard to handle” shall we say. The deal was we were all of the same old school mindset and no one had succumbed to the trendy crap that came along from time to time. When America was still America.
True enough. Feminism has allowed many men to indulge in extremely boorish and callous behavior.
I told her flatly that it's hardly raining and it won't melt her and she went up in a huff and just sat in the car as I just walked off to go into the house.
It's now 3 months since she has gone her own way and the Lord has sent a very mature, experienced & very accurate prophet to my fellowship. Recently while he was ministering to the congregation he turned to me and gave me a "word of knowledge" that my wife has been putting stuff in my food to harm me.
This witnessed to my spirit as I felt they were doing that to me on several occasions and for a long while now I took steps to protect myself.
The result is the rapidly increasing MGTOW movement.
Yes, sir. Men have been told for decades that A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle. Now, men are saying A man needs a women like a bird needs an anchor.
Women have been suckered like blacks, and now younger Americans, have been suckered, by progressives with a plan divide Americans, then conquer (with socialism).
Precisely!
You are a true gentleman. And I and the many women who respect men thank you for your efforts.
The biggest problem in perspective, I think, results from the fact that the man-hating harpies have the megaphone. Meanwhile, we normal women go about our everyday lives loving and honoring our husbands and appreciating the fact that our husbands treat us like women instead of like one of the boys.
I was reading a light-hearted debate at Facebook about men and their poor habits about cleaning up after themselves. The debate was going on between several women.
I knew instantly, without reading the long and passionate points each made, the character (and politics) of each. One of them called her man her husband. One called him her spouse. The other two called him her partner.
Instantly I knew their politics, which were the strident feminists, and which would have a long, enduring marriage.
Any woman who thinks that marriage is first and foremost a partnership has a head filled with feminist mush and will no doubt have a very turbulent and short marriage, indeed.
