A sign the end is near.

It seems like people are becoming meaner and meaner. Maybe all the crud that has been dumped on Trump since he won against all odds has brought out the worst in people. Anyway, blessings to you on this, the Lord’s Day, and may the Great Physician touch you and all those in need (as we are ALL in need, witness the cross).

I’m sorry

Mine cared about me a lot....he was a perfect dad but firm....red butt firm

And he had me promise to look after my Brad Pitts character on True Romance style little brother

It’s what families do

But one caveat

A big one

When you take care of non motivated folks whether individually or as a group it becomes problematic unless you’re helping a fallen peer...who will likely appreciate it

My dad used to say about entitlements

Generosity breeds dependence breeds resentment breeds contempt

That’s sure been the case of my brother

Now if one of my friends who’s aging dad is a healthcare billionaire were to say hey Charlie I’m gonna pay off your commercial debt for you and we’ll improve your businesses upgrades and stuff several more millions all of which he could do just writing a check and say then we’ll just ride it out and you can pay me or my estate back when you sell the dirt one day

Imagine that.

Id instantly be cash flowing seven figs a year unlike some years where I have to cash in versus out

And unlike dependent folks I’d appreciate it and be grateful forever and make sure my kid were too

He’d enshrined

Course I’d never ask.....

It’s like help versus a handout

It's a real mystery.

So you advocate for bypassing the voters because the results may not be what you want? I say, a good candidate can win. And to do otherwise feels sleazy, like democrats and mccaniac himself are.

I have a good friend dying from this same brain cancer....she has been unable to speak (so you can understand) since she had 2 surgeries (March). She is at home in Hospice care...when I visit, sometimes when I get ready to leave, she grabs my arm and looks intensely in my eyes...I know she’s trying to communicate...I surmise she’s saying THANK you for visiting...or See you next time....or Good bye...it’s so very sad.

The selfish bas*ard will probably be buried in Arlington. Maybe we can have another Free Republic get-together in D.C., and all go pi$$ on his grave.

So, when he dies, what happens to the election cut off date? Same as resignation re-election date?

You’re welcome! I didn’t know it either until someone posted it here on FR a couple of months ago. LOL.

To: GOPe Means Bend Over Spell Run
I'm sure the GOP wants him to step down sometime in May ... so the governor can appoint a temporary replacement who would serve until Election Day. That way, the replacement could run as an incumbent to serve the remainder of McCain's term ... while another GOP candidate would run for the Senate seat that Jeff Flake is vacating.

This may actually eliminate the need for a contentious Republcan primary for Flake's seat.

"Do they have hospice care on the house floor?"

I think it's right next to the breast feeding dorm.

I didn’t even realize she was married, not that I try to keep up with who’s who in politics and media. She is another keeping the family name, instead of using her married name.
