Since the Parkland school shootings, police in Broward County have seized guns from private citizens more often than any county in Florida.
As of Thursday, police had obtained 34 court orders under a new law that allows guns to be taken from people considered at risk of harming themselves or others.

I will support Rick Scott for Senate as he is much closer to a Constitutionalist than Bill the HACK Nelson.
But this law needs to be carefully examined. The problem may not be with the wording of the law PER SE, but with the possible abuse of it by those in power.
Broward county leadership (or lack thereof) led to the conditions where a sick mind like Nikolas Cruz would destroy lives.
Now, the "cure" is to give the failed leadership explicit power to invade Constitutional rights.

What are the parameters that determine who’s too unstable to own firearms? And WHO defines and utilizes those parameters? Psychiatrists? Are they forcing reviews of 4473s at the point of purchase?
