House Intelligence Committee Republicans find "no evidence" of Trump campaign collusion
CBS News ^ | 04/27/2018 | Olivia Gazis

The House Intelligence Committee on Friday released a redacted, Republican-drafted report summarizing the committee's findings from a year-long investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election. The report was accompanied by the Democrats' dissenting minority views, encompassed in a 98-page document.

The 253-page report found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, but did cite "poor judgment" and "ill-considered actions."

"While the committee found no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded, coordinated, or conspired with the Russian government, the investigation did find poor judgment and ill-considered actions by the Trump and Clinton campaigns," the report concluded.

"For example, the June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower between members of the Trump campaign and a Russian lawyer who falsely purported to have damaging information on the Clinton campaign demonstrated poor judgment," the report continues. "The committee also found the Trump campaign's periodic praise for and communications with WikiLeaks — a hostile foreign organization — to be highly objectionable and inconsistent with U.S. national security interests. The committee also found that the Clinton campaign and the DNC, using a series of cutouts and intermediaries to obscure their roles, paid for opposition research on Trump obtained from Russian sources, including a litany of claims by high-ranking current and former Russian government officials. Some of this opposition research was used to produce sixteen memos, which comprise what has become known as the Steele dossier."

So... why doesn't the article lead with all the "collusion" evidence the Democrats found?

Democrats respond with :
1) They didn’t look hard enough for it.
2) Collusion doesn’t matter, Trump admitted on TV to Obstruction

“’poor judgment and ill-considered actions by the Trump and Clinton campaigns,’ the report concluded.”

Ah, the moral equivalence ploy. Is this supposed to be an olive branch to the Democrats? What the Clinton campaign admits to, let alone what it is clearly guilty of doing, should send a host of them to prison. And they don’t accept olive branches. They want the whole enchilada.

What collusion have the Democrats on the committee found? None. They complain that the committee hasn't looked hard enough...but what have they done, other than whine?

The Russian collusion lie was manufactured to deflect attention from the Wikileaks showing the wide spread corruption in the DNC.

When they lost the 2016 election, they decided to use this lie as the grounds to undermine Trump’s Presidency.

CBS (fake) News is dishonest in its reporting in the second paragraph. They write

. The 253-page report found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, but did cite "poor judgment" and "ill-considered actions."

The very next paragraph leaves out the unnecessary separate quotes and says “by Trump and Clinton campaigns “ That paragraph will probably not make it into the swamp broadcast or print swamp media.

There was obvious collusion of the worst kind in the Clinton arranged sale of American Uranium, for the Clinton's profit. The attack on Trump was and is, simply another example of the Left's use of Misdirection as a favorite tactic.

Misdirection: Destructive Leftist Tactic

Looks like the demodummies had to say something to soften the blow. Muller will pay for his witch hunt and could possibly end up in jail. My guess he will broker a deal and throw lots of others under the bus to save his own behind. A real scumbag, he!

“The committee also found the Trump campaign’s periodic praise for and communications with WikiLeaks — a hostile foreign organization — to be highly objectionable and inconsistent with U.S. national security interests. “

Would it have been that hard to throw in a BUT President Obama commuted the sentence of a freak who actually leaked hundred of thousands of pages and videos as a member of the armed forces to Wikileaks so their objections should be put in perspective.

It’s far too late and not near enough.

I await the complete destruction of the enemies within. At the very least, I want all of those responsible for this witch hunt nonsense to be locked up, 10 to 20 or life.

Sessions won’t do a damn thing to seek justice.

1.) The summary of the Veselnitskaya meeting selectively omits testimony offering a contradictory explanation for the meeting; but even taken at face value, the statement that Veselnitskaya "falsely purported to have damaging information on the Clinton campaign" demonstrates the Trump campaign did not receive any information from the Russians through this meeting. 2.) The Trump campaign did not need to communicate with Wikileaks to obtain information that Wikileaks posted publicly; and furthermore, there is no support here for the idea that Wikileaks obtained any information from the Russians--the question of Seth Rich's role in the DNC leak remains unresolved by this summary. 3.) The buried lead here is the Clinton collusion with Russia--the only actual demonstrated collusion in the 2016 campaign. This report is a whitewash of the Clinton campaign under the guise of scolding the Trump campaign.
