Nearly 65 years after the Korean armistice was signed on July 27, 1953, it appears that a new era of peace is beginning.

The MIC is gonna be pissed this morning.

I, however, am very happy to see these events happening. There is still a long road to travel but these steps are groundbreaking.

While fake media pissants were trying to get the president impeached over a hoax, he was busy ending a 68 year old war and the world’s #1 nuclear threat. Can’t make this $hit up.

If this is true, Trump deserves the unshared Nobel Peace Prize every year for the next seven years he’ll be in office. It’s such a humongous achievement. It’s the most important achievement of anyone on Earth in the last 100 years. No I take that back, he should get the NPP every year for the rest of his life, considering that that worthless POS Obama got one for doing nothing of importance. Libs cheapen everything they touch, in this case the Nobel Peace Prize.

Korean War vets like my dad, father-in-law and uncle didn’t live long enough to see it, but I never thought I would, either.

It’s no exaggeration to say that history has been made today.

Congratulations President Trump!

Color me hopeful but skeptical. I have been to SK and done business with Koreans for years. Things are never as they say they are.

It's distinctly possible that this is a huge scam on Kim Jong Psychopath's part.DJT and his advisers would be wise to keep this possibility in mind during talks.

Offer Fat Boy full amnesty.Offer him billions.Offer his pals billions.Offer his country billions. But make it clear that every offer we make is conditioned on us,the US,having full, unrestricted 24/7/366 access to every square foot of NK so that compliance with their claims of warhead destruction can be confirmed.

IOW..."trust but verify".

Wow, this is absolutely incredible. So sad that so few Americans realize this year is still ongoing and how dearly we paid for it. I trust Kim about as far as I can throw his fat arse, but this is still good news. Whatever the cause is, even if it is accidental due to damaged test sites, let us move toward peace if at all possible. We should not think this is the end, because they have lied so many times before. They have attacked South Korea so many times, tried to assassinate their leaders time and again, and kidnapped and killed Allied soldiers guarding checkpoints. They need to prove it. Trump should keep the momentum, but keep the pressure on full force. Never take your eyes off them for a moment.

Similar “pledges” have been signed in the past by the North. Their intent was scrapped by the North nearly as soon as the North Korean dictators left the signing ceremony.

The real concern are political agreements the two may yet sign, which will begin a process of subverting the Constitution of South Korea and see direct North Korean political party openly participating in South Korea while suppression of opposition continues unabated in the North.

Many of the present South Korean leaders aides were members of an organization in South Korea that expresses “admiration” for the North. Some in south Korea consider them seditious but can’t prevent it.
