Same here. I had a college prof that traded hostilities with the norks during the conflict and he hoped it would end without us students having to do what he did.

They are still not seeing it. It is not a peace treaty but a mere “pledge” a “declaration of intent”. It has been done by the two sides more than once in the past. It is not peace treaty and legally binds the North to nothing. Multiple times they have signed these pledges and multiple times the North reverts to its aggressive position.
