The leaders of North and South Korea signed a historic declaration Friday pledging "no more war" and a common goal of "complete denuclearization" on the Korean Peninsula.
The countries, which technically remain in a state of war, heralded the deal as part of "a new era of peace" after a historic summit.
North Korea's Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in also vowed to "cease all hostile acts" and to "transform the Demilitarized Zone into a peace zone." The two leaders embraced, and Moon said he would visit Pyongyang in the fall.

That's a big concern.
It is not a peace treaty but a mere “pledge” a “declaration of intent”. It has been done by the two sides more than once in the past.

Interesting you would say that, as I saw the introductory remarks by Kim Jong Un when they first sat down at the table and he referred to exactly that, saying that their imminent agreement would be worthless unless it was implemented, and that they should not go back to the way it was.
This time may be different...let’s hope so.

Reunification is going to be tricky, since the North Koreans are not going to be nearly as educated and skilled as their southern brethren. It will take at least a generation, if not two, for things to truly normalize.

So Obama got a Nobel Peace Prize simply for being elected president. Has Trump even been considered for one for this? I doubt it.

While fake media pissants were trying to get the president impeached over a hoax, he was busy ending a 68 year old war and the world’s #1 nuclear threat. Can’t make this $hit up.

Also throw out all the diplomacy of Madeline Albright, Sandy Burglar, Kerry, Hilly etc. The Donald without much fanfare does what none of them could hope for.

Throw in also the high probability that neither Johnny “ 2 faces” McCain, nor Mitten Romney would have ever come close to this potential resolution.
Minus the US real pressure this never happens.
