The leaders of North and South Korea signed a historic declaration Friday pledging "no more war" and a common goal of "complete denuclearization" on the Korean Peninsula.
The countries, which technically remain in a state of war, heralded the deal as part of "a new era of peace" after a historic summit.
North Korea's Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in also vowed to "cease all hostile acts" and to "transform the Demilitarized Zone into a peace zone." The two leaders embraced, and Moon said he would visit Pyongyang in the fall.

Are you sure?
One thing you can do to help answer the question is think to yourself, are you protecting a belief system which could be threatened by this news?
Which is leading me to wonder what happens to Democrats chance electorally if even a larger percentage bolt the Democrat Plantation.
It would not surprise me if president Trump could get 25% of blacks to vote for him in the next election - if that happens we could be looking at 1984 type results in 2020 provided the republicans don't blow this upcoming election - which they seem dead set on doing.
The media silence is so loud and illuminating that they have become entirely irrelevant when it comes to matters of importance.
History is in the making, folks. Of course, the filth in the “media” will give all credit to the leaders of the Koreas.
The media will say this is part of the Obama plan and that is why he got the peace prize in 2008.
Trump must have scared the hell out of this little Un guy.
The German reunification was difficult enough; this will be far more challenging.
This evil man is rotting from the inside....
You seem to be high. It HAS NOT been done at the DMZ with one of the Kims stepping into South Korea and the President of S. Korea stepping into the North. To dismiss that as just like some other BS symbolism of the past is literally an insane statement to make.
To be clear, there has been no deal worked out yet between the US and the North, but Trump is not Hussein who will give away the store for free. If there is no deal for denuclearization with snap inspections, then there is no deal, as least as far at the US is involved.

I suggest you go get history lessons on all the past summits with North Korea and all the similar past declarations, instead of projecting your own “belief system” in place of that history.
They are going to have a serious problem with immigration. If that border doesn’t stay tight, the north will drain out and the south will have an epic disaster on its hands. That said, much much better than the alternative.
“Nothing like this has ever happened before. “
You are wrong. There have been other North-South Korean summits and with all the diplomatic flare, and with declarations to change things, work for peace and end hostilities. This one is no different.
Businesses in the South will love all that cheap labor from the North.
I think there has to be a period where the North can stabilize, before true reunification can take place. It will take at least a generation for the folks in the North to catch up, in terms of skills, culture with the South.
“Because Trump blew up Kims nuclear mountain.....How its done in the real world.”
No evidence what so ever. Pure speculation.
Most likely it collapsed due to North Korean incompetence in handling their nuke program.
“First time they have done it with a Trump watching them.”

“Peace & Security” eh guys?
>>>Nearly 65 years after the Korean armistice was signed on July 27, 1953, it appears that a new era of peace is beginning<<<
That was the day after I was Born. I never realized that my Birth would be so consequential.
“Youve seen the two heads of state meet at the boundary? Shake hands? Cross over into each others country together? Share food? Plant a tree together? Establish a hotline to each other? Make a joint announcement together? Signed a monument together?”
The meaningless theatrics aside (meant for domestic political consumption not diplomacy or negotiations), yes North and South Korean leaders have directly met & shook hands before, have issued joint declarations before to end hostilities and promote peace on the peninsula before, And yes, they have had the hotline before. The north closed it.
Read history.
“The rest of us must have missed all that from before.”
Yes you did.
“Kim Jong Un has never before come to South Korea for face to face talks.”
Theatrics of no material significance as far as agreeing to anything. It’s a freebee to Moon because so many in South Korea don’t trust him. Makes Moon look good, and Kim will want something in return for it (maybe like before with Kim Dae-Jung’s summit with North Korea, this Kim of the North has already been paid).
