Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Thursday that an ongoing probe into President Trump “needs to conclude” in order to let him focus on North Korea, the U.S.-Mexico border and other world negotiations.
Mr. Sessions also said he expects the Justice Department inspector general to finish his investigation into the department’s and FBI’s handling of investigations into Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election in a “few weeks,” saying that will provide more information for decisions on whether there was wrongdoing.

Seems clintons investigation was very narrow in scope and everything else found out about her was ignored but this mueller creep is allowed to dig into anything in trump’s past to bring him down.

Did you honestly know Sessions was Swamp prior to his recusal? Hindsight is 20/20. When I first heard that Sessions was the AG pick, I had no idea whatsoever that Trump had just committed the biggest blunder of his term.

Sessions could tell Mueller to shut the Special Counsel invstigation down and in return he (Sessions) won’t prosecute Comey, McCabe, Hillary, etc.

While its been frustrating waiting all this many months for some closure, there is an upside to this Mueller mess. The investigation has produced a big nothing, the majority are tired of Mueller and want the investigation wrapped up, and it has drawn out into the open much of the wacko, deep state, anti-American leftist hate cult that otherwise would still be entrenched. Its driving the left nuts, as if they already weren’t. And now, after many months of this, the momentum is failing even for the 33% hard core leftist amongst us. A few weeks ago they were threatening to impeach the president if he removed Mueller. Well now, others have come out and said its time to go as well. The dam is breaking, and evidences of real crime are coming to light.
Again, while its been very frustrating from out here in flyover country, I agree with Sessions in that the whole special council concept should not be invoked again. The whole thing stinks of not being constitutional in the first place (no accountability, no limits) and two wrongs don’t make a right.
I do look forward to the investigations we haven’t heard much about as the focus shifts from Trump/Russia to Clinton/FISA crimes.

I assume the best case scenario for face saving is this ends in a draw:
Mueller claims he couldn’t finish because Trump will not talk to him and Trump continues to claim it is a witch hunt.Mueller files report that says investigation is incomplete. Rats get to continue their claims (which they will anyway) and Trump continues that its a witch hunt.
This whole mueller charade is probably just to keep an investigation into Clinton crimes and Obama crimes from a serious investigation. The media ignores leftists crime news and salivaties over false Trump Russia junk that has been proven untrue.
