None of them were accused of drugging and raping 75+ women. COSBY WAS A CELEBRITY so when he said Kidd should pull up their pants and stay in school, everyone paid attention. And you are so gullible you think that bit of social comment made a Vast Conspiracy lie about him and get a hundred women to make up stories?

What if your daughter were drugged by a famous man and raped? How would you feel if others said it was a lie because he had said a nice conservative thing once?
I didn’t take Balding Eagle’s remark in that way. I think they meant that the left looks the other way in many cases like this (see Clinton) but is far less likely to if the perp has displayed any conservative views.
I don’t think that would matter with many FReepers. It’s a bros b4 ho’s mentality.
Oh BS - he was acquitted of this crime 3 times - they kept retrying the case again and again until they got the verdict they wanted.

My reaction to the first accusation was disbelief. But what has emerged is a pattern of abuse - and a pretty consistent pattern. Didn’t listen to any of the trial and don’t know if the jury was right or wrong. But IF guilty, then he deserves punishment.
I admit to feeling sad. I always suspected he was one of those people who seem nice but who I probably would dislike if I met them. But I liked his comedy. May still have a record of his in the garage. I’ll never be able to listen to one of his routines again.
Balding_Eagle was making the point that had Cosby toed the party line and not taken a conservative stand on some social issues, he would have gotten away with his misdeeds, as have the Kennedys, Bill Clinton, and so on.

Cosby’s lawyers have all these trolls flooding theinternet with posts like these, to influence opinion in his favor for the Appeals Court. Don’t befooled by them.
I am with you all the way , Yaelle. These creeps on here defending the pig are hired hands, getting paid by the word by the Cosby defense team rats. We were not born yesterday. Look at the sign-up dates...they came on in the last couple of years when the pig-creep’s trials began.
I think I would ask myself why I allowed my YOUNG DAUGHTER to go to an OLDER MAN'S HOUSE for ALCOHOL and DRUGS , on the pretense that she was 'auditioning' for a part.
