Anyone know if Tester can be booted out in the upcoming election? Montana seems to be a blue state now, but I could be wrong. Despicable Tester was the ringleader on this.

The message that the democrats are sending is that if they regain the majority, they will use the nuclear option and make all appointments a simple majority. They won’t take the stance of McConnell and worry about the ‘decorum’ or deliberation of the Senate. Maybe thais what McConnell wants - it would be a major fundraiser and would assure the necessity of the swamp.
