Good lamb is out of this world delicious.
I once purchased a lamb roast from Costco which was raised in Australia. Horrible. Tough and very awful tasting.
New Zealand spring lamb is good. My daughter and son-in-law are now raising sheep, pasture fed, and it is so mild, so tender, and so unbelievably delicious.
I LOVE lamb. Leg of lamb or a lamb roast. Then make “Syrian Special” with the leftovers.
“Syrian Special”: Cut up lamb, green beans (canned), tomatoes (diced) (canned), salt & pepper to taste.
Serve over rice (optional)
Sort of a lamb stew, without the potatoes and carrots.
A great leftover. Make a great meal in just minutes with what you already have in your cupboard.
I find the best deal and selection of lamb, legs, roasts, chops, and steaks (don’t buy racks because I don’t like to pay money for bones) at BJ’s Wholesale Club.
BJ’s Wholesale Club has over 210+ locations in 16 states: Connecticut Delaware Florida Georgia Maine Maryland Massachusetts New Hampshire. New Jersey New York North Carolina South Carolina Ohio Pennsylvania Rhode Island Virginia.
Bon appétit!
