The jury in Bill Cosby's indecent assault trial asked a question Wednesday that goes to the heart of the case against the former TV icon: "What is the legal definition of consent?"
The question came around 1 p.m., less than two hours after the 12-person jury began deliberating the case. Cosby is on trial for three counts of aggravated indecent assault.
Montgomery County court Judge Steven O'Neill told the jurors that he could not answer the question.
"The jury will decide what consent means to them," he said.

Many lawyers try to nullify "informed consent" documents that are drafted with very explicit terms. At some point they argue that there is no such thing as informed consent because people are stupid.
Consent means things. This judge is now allowing jurors to use their imaginations for this. Swell.
Goodbye to consent.

Yup.
I wonder what the racial make-up of that jury is?
I guess if you’re going to be a serial rapist like Clinton and Cosby - you’re OK cause your name is Bill.

If even one juror doesn't know the meaning of consent that means that there’ll either be a not guilty or a hung jury.

Oh, so this is turning into a Cosby meme thread is it? I can do that.
To: conservative98
If you don’t know what consent is then you are not qualified to be on a jury.

I agree with the concern of the Jury. These women willingly go home with him, take off their clothes and years later scream rape if there is money to be had and blame everyone else but themselves. The answer is the same where college girls have sex with athletes. Immediately extricate yourself from the unwanted sex and dial 911 on your little Iphone. Tell the answering person “ I have been raped” . We have great laws designed to punish for proven rape. Don’t wait 15 years and then moan and complain for money ( like with judge Moore) . I suggest the statute of limitations for sexual assault should be 1 week to file a complaint or SHUT UP!!

100% Yinzer (they got a change of venire to Pittsburgh)

If you are qualified to be on a jury than a jury consultant no doubt managed to screen you out.

A jury could deliberate for a thousand years, and read half of the books in the Library of Congress, and still not come up with a good answer to that question.
