Even in the suburbs, he could have escaped. This is not romantic. This is nightmare.

But it is understandable as law of the jungle. It’s how a system dominates, by playing hardball. Only when the citizens play harder ball yet will it end.

Mr. Capone wouldn’t have tolerated this shit. There is a story that Louis Armstrong was performing in one of Capone’s prohibition era speakeasies and someone stole his Trumpet. Al liked Louis and his music and found out about the theft. Several days later Louis got his trumpet back. Identity and fate of thief unknown.
