Montgomery County prosecutors lashed into Bill Cosby in their final pitch to jurors Tuesday, painting him as a serial sexual predator who hid for decades behind his reputation as “America’s Dad” to lure unsuspecting young women into situations where they were powerless to resist his advances. “He is nothing like the image he plays on TV,” Assistant District Attorney Kristen Feden said in an impassioned address to the panel of seven men and five women hearing the case. “He utilized that image and cloaked it around himself, so he could gain the trust of young, unsuspecting women to sexually assault them and strip their ability to say no.”

I’m sure Bill Cosby did some questionable things in his seduction routine. One of his most prominent skits included looking for Spanish fly.

Young lady goes to his hotel/home/film set trailer, alone… what did she think it was about?
This stinks to me of left wing politicians and prosecutors who reject Cosby’s speech to young black men to take responsibility for their actions (read: raise your children and pay for their upbringing)
I know a guy who, as a corporate pilot, transported Cosby on at least one occasion.
Fully agrees with the characterizations of Cosby as a slimeball.
Now people are actually believing him on that.

Bill did a marvelous HBO special "Bill Cosby Himself" that we still enjoy. You haven't really laughed until you watch it. I think this link is the one on YouTube.
I believe that he is a scumbag but I also question the case that they are using to go against him. The “victim” in this case willingly took whatever pills he gave her and continued to have a relationship after this happened. Also the dates are unclear and they charged him so close to the date the statute of limitations expired, I have reasonable doubt about whether it happened within the prosecutable timeframe.
Cosby went out on a very narrow limb to speak truth to power, the power that manipulates an entire segment of society into being dependent upon women and federal welfare programs to raise a child without the father present, further encouraging any cultural irresponsibility that was already there.
For going against the deep state (and welfare is one of the deep state's harshest weapons against freedom and individual discipline and accomplishment) and the feminists--an unholy alliance--Cosby is being pilloried.
The public desecration of this man is the symptom of an insidious national disease. It is not the cure. Trying to take down President Trump on the testimony of a woman who may have had consensual sex with him twelve years ago is another branch of the very same poisonous tree.
Bill Cosby was never right wing. He had a reputation as an upstanding moral man, and a pioneering, legendary entertainer, who occasionally made a powerfully-worded public pronouncement. But sometimes he sounded paranoid, believing that whitey was out to get blacks and annihilate them, and he was a run-of-the-mill reliable Dem black voter. It was shocking that he was charged with these crimes, and it completely wrecked his public image, but that doesn’t make him innocent.
When we make shortcuts with that principle or we set it aside or we subvert it, then every one of us are vulnerable in some other case entirely different and not related to harassment

I get the daily coverage of this case from the local news (in Philly area), plus the previous mistrial daily coverage in years past.
Look, I don’t know if BC is guilty of rape of said incident he’s being accused of, but Andrea Constand could hardly be called a typical ‘sexual-assault victim’.
And these prosecutors are out to score political points for their future personal fortunes, either as monetary rewards for later cases or ambitions for other higher offices.
What charges, then will be brought against Bill Clinton and other left wing rapists?
Where is the commentary on Bill Clinton and his treatment of women?
Over and above all other considerations, Bill Cosby is in show business, the culture of which is rife with this type of sexual abuse. I tend to believe he did the crimes, although a lot of greedy #metoo’s are probably hitching their cars onto the money wagon.

I believe he did most, but not all. Some of these leaches jumped on the bandwagon because he cannot defend against it—it was so long ago.
Cosby was one of the icons of my youth, I had all his albums, I could recite all of his routines by heart.
But I even knew in the 70s with him being constantly at the Playboy Mansion, that his public persona didn’t match how he really is.
There was a time in the ‘90s, when an alarming number of black celebrities were suddenly charged with heinous crimes; murder, pedophilia, date rape, etc. Bill Cosby came late to the party.
Bill Clinton’s not going to get charged with anything unless the Feds interdict an outbound flight of the Lolita Express, find him in flagrant delicto rogering a 12-year-old girl, and snap pictures with a non-digital camera, developing the pictures immediately and making a few hundred copies that they then post on the Internet before he has time to post bail or talk to a lawyer even. They have what’s called ‘protectsia’ (connections). Poor Bill Cosby just has a ton of money and a legal presumption of innocence. Maybe it’s all an evil conspiracy against black celebrities. But even if he’s exonerated, he’ll never again be revered or loved by the public.
i think his rep is already tarnished, and he hates this more than having to spend $$.
If he turns out innocent, I’ll feel sorry for him. If he’s guilty, his rep deserves to be tarnished. If all he needed was some poon tang, he could have looked up Stormi.
i don’t think this was about sex as much as the power to do what he wanted, when he wanted, to whom he wanted. Clearly he doesn’t want to have to ask/hear NO.Otherwise you are correct, he coulda got a hooker. Shoulda got a hooker! Now he is in a world of shit.
