A civil suit does not require evidence to be "beyond a shadow of a doubt" like in criminal law. Civil suits are decided on a preponderance of the evidence and there have been many cases where juries acted out of spite or emotion.

This is a prime case where a jury on DC could decide based on social justice.

If my theory is proven correct, he will be right. That is, that the DNC uses this suit as a tool to raise millions of dollars “for the legal fund” although money is fungible and can be used for anything they damn please - and then drop the lawsuit before the Republicans have a chance to do any discovery.
