A trap question. Would you consider stopping beating your wife? Yup. If he said "yes" it implies Cohen broke the law and Trump is going to let him get away with it. If he says "no" it implies that Cohen broke the law and Trump is going to sacrifice him. There is no "good" answer other than what Trump did: tell the reporter to pound sand.
