Gunfire and explosions are reportedly heard outside the palace of the Saudi king in Riyadh. King Salman has been reportedly evacuated from the compound to a bunker at a military base in the capital. The number of assailants, their identity or affiliations is still unknown. But some sources say the attack is part of a coup led by princes who are opposed to the Saudi king.
They are saying it was just a toy drone got too close, but this seems like something else happened.

No.
Check Breaking News, this was reported and debunked yesterday.
thanks, I didn’t see it, for some reason I can’t get the side bar to work, my breaking seems to be stuck on 2016
I don’t King Salman would have been dumb enough to leave the opposing princes with enough capital to mount a viable coup.
Can you give me a link? I can’t find it.
What I saw when this story broke yesterday was that a drone entered the palace airspace and they open up with massive antiaircraft fire to shoot it down. Apparently not a big deal. But that was just the Saudi official response.

That’s a lot of gunfire for a drone.
How would you see a drone to shoot at it in the dark of night?
Palace guards are better trained than to fire randomly at such a small target for so long, knowing those rounds would be landing in the residential areas around the palace.
I say we accidentally drop a nuke. Clean house a bit.
