Designer methamphetamines......bath salts...etc...make user feel very thermally hot...can also induce extremely violent behaviour. Couple that with constant violent imagery in our media and mental instability and plain ol’ evil and easy availability of harm capable equipment...teeth...fists,knives, guns, cars, bats, etc..and you get what you get. Post hippie attitude of just”doin’ my thing” also helps.
