One Philadelphia neighborhood is about to boil over. Neighbors are upset over what they call persistent problems with a nearby school for children with disciplinary problems. The neighbors say home surveillance caught the latest incident.
Its extremely upsetting. You park your car, you think its safe, said Ben Steele.
Two students identified as being from nearby Camelot Academy caught on home surveillance climbing on top of Daniel Steeles car on the 1500 block of North 26th Street. The pair jumping up and down like the car was a trampoline, leaving large dents in the roof. ---SNIP-- Its been excessive and its happening often, said Kevin Gil.
Gil actually mentors one of the Camelot students.
Hes actually expressed that they enjoy messing with us and Im trying to tell him that is not a good thing to celebrate, Gil explained

I thought everyone in Philly were Friends.
Ah man, this is too easy guessing the demo of the jumpers. I wont even click on it..
Not so Camelot-y.
Neighbors upset with teens jumping on cars in Brewerytown
Especially the "Brothers"....
Camelot Academy..... Just sounds so bucolic. Etiquette class with afternoon tea..........
And the cops will do nothing.
Don’t want to spoil all the Federal loot the school is getting because the budding criminals are not being arrested.
To all Philly residents: Man, you need to get over your racism there in Philly. The car owners have successful-person-privilege. The “less-fortunate can’t buy a car. You are lucky they aren’t torching it. Let the kids have fun destroying your property. Don’t be so insensitive to their needs.
Precisely! :)
It looks like the roof-jumpers were AMISH again! LOL.

I imagine the actual conversation went like this...
“We gon’ f*** yo azz up, Cracker.”
“Oh please don’t. I’m sorry I offended you. Please forgive me”.
I live in Texas. This never happens in Texas.
If it did, you’d see a bunch a dead teens lying on the ground next to said cars. With gunshot wounds to the teens.
"Get off my car!"
I had a friend in Seattle back in the early 80’s that had a Porsche 924. One day somebody went down the street he was parked on bashing people’s windshields with a baseball bat. He was an avid skier and the front of his car was really badly rock chipped. So he took a single swing at it with a baseball bat before reporting the damage. Got it fixed for free.
Funny thing is he now lives in a multi million dollar house...
What I love about Texas is that everyone there of any color or creed would expect that. I think the minorities in Texas would especially expect that. Texas takes the racial lines and makes them into a figure 8 race track.
Nope he didn’t get it fixed for free. Maybe no charge to his cheating’ @zz but someone paid for it.
The cops CANNOT do anything, at least if they do no he will back then up. See the recent incident at Starbucks. They stand alone so often.
Yep. It was definitely insurance fraud. Just low level.
The part that was funny is that all the other cars only had windshield damage. Is someone really wanted to push it, they could have made the argument that he did exactly what he did, but good luck proving it in the early 80’s.
Its extremely upsetting. You park your car, you think its safe, said Ben Steele.
In Philadelphia? Go ahead pull the other one.
