SCOOP: Rod Rosenstein told Trump last week that he isn’t a target of any part of Mueller’s investigation.
After the meeting, Trump told some of his closest advisers that it’s not the right time to remove either man.
Rosenstein, who brought up the Mueller probe himself, offered the assurance during a meeting with Trump at the White House last Thursday, a development that helped tamp down the president’s desire to remove Rosenstein or Mueller, the people said.
The only reason there is a Cohen investigation is to go after Trump
DJT is not a target because the “Hillary lost because Trump colluded with the Russians” false narrative is a democrat created hoax.
My guess is Rosenstien is trying to throw Trump off and let his guard down.
Mueller was hired for on sole reason. To find or make up something destroy Trump and get him out of office. The investigation will continue until this objective is completed.
Seeing that most of Mueller's attorneys are Clinton supporters, I would say there will be no investigation of the Clinton Crime Family.
Also, to say that Trump isn't being investigated does not include 'future' Mueller investigations on Trump based on 'new evidence.'

It might be the one thing that assures they won’t get that majority.
As somebody explained earlier, there is witness, subject and target of inquiries with the difference between subject and target being just a matter of ease of prosecution. Target being a subject post indictment.
Anyway, When I read such headlines like Trump not target of Mueller investigation I read “Trump not a target of investigation until he is”.
Maybe Mueller is interesting himself?

Fox is now framing this as Trump isn’t a target of the Cohen probe - indicated that the big raids on Cohen’s records last week were aimed at Cohen himself and not his dealings with Trump - good news for the prez apparently....

Trump, IS, of course, the target of the Mueller probe. About a year ago, Comey told him he was not the target. That is FBI/DOJ speak for officially not having a written document spelling it out. Waiting to spring the trap.

Why yes, Flick, I remember what this investigation is about. It’s called a quasi-legal smear tactic. It is to make sure that every day there is something negative following “Trump” on the MSM.
It’s a war of attrition, and not the way you think. It’s not about picking off Trump’s people, one by one. True, that is happening, but the real point of the whole mess is to brainwash the nation into having a negative reaction everytime the word “Trump” is spoken.
Oh, and it’s a refresher course in “yellow journalism” for the MSM. I mean, they were so HONEST during 0’s reign.
