Former President Barack Obama has again lauded the students of Parkland, Florida, writing that they "are shaking us out of our complacency."
"America's response to mass shootings has long followed a predictable pattern," the 44th president wrote in an entry published Thursday in Time Magazine's "100 Most Influential People" list. "This time, something different is happening. This time, our children are calling us to account."
"Seared by memories of seeing their friends murdered at a place they believed to be safe, these young leaders don't intimidate easily," Obama wrote of the students.
"The Parkland, Fla., students don't have the kind of lobbyists or big budgets for attack ads that their opponents do. Most of them can't even vote yet," Obama noted. "But they have the power so often inherent in youth: to see the world anew; to reject the old constraints, outdated conventions and cowardice too often dressed up as wisdom. The power to insist that America can be better."

You mean the “kids” being used/supported by the Dem party to push their agenda. When they are no longer useful, they will be tossed aside just like every other person/group the left has used.

1. Lots of folks have influence, some obtain it by wisdom and others by fakery, deceit, and collusion. (Choose the one that best fits.)
2. The "children" actually appear to be a highly organized little obedient and unquestioning "community", that serves to repeat the anti 2A scare stories with, one suspects, much "assistance" from behind-the-scenes minders.
3. And, the real reason behind the Parkland tragedy? One suspects that it primarily points to Mister Obama's and Mister Holder's danger-laden PROMISE program, and how young criminals' crimes and sicknesses were being officially ignored; and, how the young creeps and criminals adapted by stepping up their game.
Sorry but MOST Parkland students have exceeded their 15 minutes and are now just becoming pain in the asses!

Why hasn’t Florida Pols including Governor Scott bring up the Obama policy failures which include not only lax security but perverse disciplinary practices foisted on the Marjory S Douglas Parkland HS through DOJ grants ? When it is clear those policies flatly failed and allowed that tragedy to occur ?
