An Uber driver charged with raping a passenger earlier this month was able to walk free because officials failed to notify immigration agents about his arrest, authorities said.
Frederick Amfo, 30, an illegal immigrant from Ghana, was arrested after a female passenger said that on April 8 he forced her into the backseat of his car and raped her, police said. Hours after he was released from police custody, he fled to his native Ghana. He was supposed to surrender his passport but did not.

The trend is always the same.... Commit a serious crime and then flee back to the sh1thole you left so not to be caught. So what was the reason to come here in the first place??? ( I know the answer to that) Only to commit a crime and then flee back to a place you would normally fight to be deported back to??? We have got to lock up this country like it is our home. my hubby was in Ghana when 911 occurred and the people celebrated in the streets....they thought it was funny....
The advantage of companies is that they can be held accountable to rules, background checks etc.

Went back to Ghana to try and fix things, got a massive amount of pushback from the government, his tribe, his family and his friends; then gave up and moved back to the USA.
Young men who want to be pastors are sent to the USA, get their education, then get so much grief from all of these entities which I listed that they accept the first offer from some USA church to be their pastor. Because their friends, relatives and government officials expect them to bring back money and give it to them. If they do not, they are ostracized, ridiculed and discriminated against.
