Its important to understand how the left is twisting numbers for political purposes, but its also vital to rebut the destructive message theyre sending.
The subtext of Equal Pay Day is that women cant. No matter how hard women work, no matter how smart they are, no matter their choices, women cant earn as much as men. Try your hardest, sister, but your gender will keep you down.

If women really got paid less for the same job as a man, then none of us men would ever get a job. All businesses would hire only women.
Why?
Because they would see their payroll costs be a lot less, if they could pay women so much less than men. So they would have a strong incentive to hire only females.
That is, if this gender pay gap were real.
Lie #2... women don't need to be "empowered". Women have controlled men since the dawn of time.
In general, I have found it is far easier to reason with your average three year old than your average libtard.
Lie #3... women need to be equal to men...why drag them down to our level?
Neuter Nouns Matter.
Stop pretending that on average men are stronger than women and on average take more dangerous jobs with inconvenient hours than women.

They aren’t doing it to empower women. They’re doing it to advance the cause of wealth redistribution.
Think about the nature of jobs.....should women who work in the NFL be paid on an equal basis with the men??????? There are many considerations in job descriptions, death or injury possibilities, required time off probabilities, travel possibilities......and, men seldom sue their employers for sexual harassment atmosphere.
