I was stationed there 1965-1966. It was Langley AFB then, HQ Tactical Air Command. Lots of F4s and ADC F-106s. Nice sounds in those days. Thanks for your service!
I was at Langley from 1995-2004.. retired 1 Sep 04 from HQ ACC. The "mile-long building" is no more, the gates are like fortified palace entrances, and F-22s are in the hangars.

I can’t imagine running that far...and I used to run!
I did once walk 12 miles in the snow when I had to go from downtown to Roslindale during a surprise storm in November that stopped all traffic and public transportation. But I was 16 at the time.

My neighbor’s forsythia has blossomed.
There is hope.

Oh, yeah! It was the cats.
Squabbling in the back yard.
"Mommy" to the rescue! LOL!
It's a nice quiet [no wind] morning right now.
Hope it stays that way!
Are you getting storms?
Or worse, more snow?
Hope it goes away soon and you have stillness.
Y'all have a Terrific Tuesday!
((((hugs))))

“Oh, yeah! It was the cats.

Yeah, so that brings up a good question:
Why is there a TV program named, “My Cat From Hell” but there is no TV program named, “My Dog From Hell” huh? Well, HUH?
I reiterate: “I HATE CATS!”

I’ll bet cats love you, though. :)

I couldn’t begin to think about running that far. I ran track in school but ran the 75 and 100 yd. dashes and left the others eating my dust. But the long-distance runs - - fuggedaboudit. No stamina for that.
I love to walk and can walk all day.

Yeah, they do! Stupid cats! Crawling all over me, getting fur all over me, purring and disturbing my TV programs!
