An unnamed client of Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's longtime personal attorney, is Fox News host Sean Hannity.
The revelation came after U.S. District Court judge Kimba Wood ordered Cohen to disclose the name in a court hearing on Monday.
In an earlier court filing Monday morning, lawyers for Cohen refused to identify the recent client one of three people Cohen represented between 2017 and 2018. The lawyers also refused to identify the names of other past clients.
Lawyers for Cohen whose business records were seized by FBI agents April 9 said the then-unnamed client had told Cohen not to disclose his name and that they believed Cohen had a duty not to disclose it.
They also said that if Cohen's clients, other than Trump, were publicly revealed, it is "likely to be embarrassing or detrimental to the client."

I’d say that they have a real fight on their hands now. Go Hannity!
Someone had better wake Jeff Sessions and let him know about the corruption, because it appears he thinks everything is just fine and dandy.
Never mind...he recused himself so his naps would remain uninterrupted.
The globalists at Fox will throw a party the day the last conservative there leaves.
Cohen is the problem here. He’s demonstrated that he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. Cohen was the one who said Hannity was his third client. So if all Hannity did was ask him a few legal questions and didn’t pay him or anything, WHY did Cohen say he was a client? It’s what a liar would say!
IMHO, I think both President Trump and Hannity need to throw Cohen under the bus.
I have stated the ethics see if you can apply them to others instead of trying to accuse me of inconsistency.
I am somewhat taken aback by the resistance of some FRs to this simple point. You report on something, you disclose relationship to any of the major players.
Listen to Hannity or Prager or Rush. They do it all the time when they say, I had dinner with or I talked at this meeting or my brother wrote....Hannity has said, I had dinner at the wh or whatever. That is enough, anyone can see a friendship or relationship there.
I think he just didn’t see it. I think he told the truth when he explained it yesterday and still doesn’t understand. But it’s no different than any other disclosures like when Fox commentators say company or person is a sponsor to the program etc.
People here seem caught up in defending him instead of just acknowledging the issue. What Sean did is not really a crime or anything, like what the FBI and judges or dems do. But it is a matter off ethics. And ethical violations can occur in various degrees.
bite me
Stock market, depends on the story. The business channelepople disclose all the time, so he would come under those standards.
Yes, if he reports on a matter involving an attorney he consults and uses for interpretations then he should disclose. Why is that so difficult for you. Change him for Matthews or Maddow and then ask what you reaction would be.
Project much do you? My reaction would be the same.........Give it up bro, this is a nothingburger and you know it.
Give it up bro. You know he made a mistake.
We get all over libs all the time for less of relationship than this. look at the examples on liberal media as has been indicated in threads here. Just own up to the issue and cleanse yourself Bro...
Both sides have good points. I don’t believe Sean Hannity was obligated to disclose his relationship with Cohen, but I do think he should have just to avoid the left making a mountain out of a mole hill. If that relationship was as he claimed, I would imagine that he’s got no problem with the info being released and would hardly consider it to be invasion of his privacy.
I want to repeat for others I don’t say he owed or schemed or thought he was wrong. I think, he just thought it isn’t an issue and when it came up last week, he just didn’t make the connection. he seems like a straight shooter.
Should Stephanopoulos disclose his ongoing association with the Clintons. Should Come dispose he voted for Clinton. Should the entire MSM disclose who they voted for?
Yes, he should because unlike Sean Hannity who is a Talk Show host who admittedly comments on the news as a republican conservative.
Stephanopoulos, former Clinton Aid, is masking himself as a journalist/reporter without the bias which everyone knows is total BS.
IO don’t think he LIED
Get off your horse of hypocrisy dude, nobody gave a rat's ass, even you, when it was revealed that a certain morning show co-anchor secretly donated $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation.
The entire MSM ignored it, and this site only hosted one thread that received only 52 responses.....
So put some ketchup on your nothingburger, it might taste better.....
I always value truth and honesty. Sorry your horse died.
Ridiculous! Utterly absurd.
So where is the almighty ethical and legalistic man of moral character Sessions screaming about the illegality of all of this?
If he continues to allow this to go unchecked then he been compromised big time.
Where are the other legal beagle GOP’s?
No you don't. You ignore the facts as long as it fits your own personal narrative..........As for the horse, you rode in on it so you bury it...Hypocrite!
what facts did I ignore. I stated my case. Why respond to the rest about the judge and the FBI, we all agree on that. This is about deans behavior nothing else. You don’ justify your unethical behavior by pointing it out in others. Why don’t you chase some of those on the thread who agree with me?
