So many people in my family have done it already. I’ve got a comprehensive makeup without ever having to take the test. Most were kin close or over age 70. They aren’t really worried about what’s going to happen to their data.

The subject matter here is student data mining.

Are you telling me the mountains of data (mandated to be)collected on the young’uns isn’t stored for future use by the bureaucrats, aka, cultural Marxists?

If that is your position, then you’ve got some learning to do.

As far as the contents and goals of Common Core, which I think you are really referring to, it is equally as sinister. No time or space to go line by line but suffice it to say it is designed to discourage self-initiative and destroy critical thinking( lose critical thinking skills and you have destroyed free will).

There is more, but some pretty strong anecdotal evidence is found in NYS, where the Governor threatened the teachers with prosecution and/or job loss if they spoke about CC to anyone at anytime. They were required to sign some paper pledging their silence. No help whatsoever from the teachers union, btw. Clear free speech issues, but the teachers declined attorney offers to file a class action lawsuit of violation of 1A rights - somehow Governor Cuomo put the fear of God in them.

Why would a sitting Governor (a known NWO lackey) go to these lengths to shut down discussion of Common Core?

To ask that question is to answer it.

I was referring to the Common Core, which you clearly don’t understand, or really know what’s in it based on your commentary about it being designed to ‘destroy critical thinking, when in fact it is quite explicitly designed to do the opposite.

I imagine you have an impression of it based on secondary sources, but you clearly have no experience with the standards themselves.

Sorry, I have plenty of teaching experience in the public school system, served on the school board, and also come from a long line of educators in the family.

I know full well what I am talking about.

Either you do not, are being hoodwinked, or lying.

That must be why so many school districts are giving students tablets to use.

Not to make light of your sense of the need for alarm here, cause the sense of alarm is needed, but they are doing this already!

These data systems can be useful tools. In the wrong hands, they can be used for much evil.
