Pence also said. Its time for Russia to get the message President Trump delivered last night. You're known by the company you keep. He also said the United State will mount a sustained effort against the regime if the attacks continue, echoing what U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley said in an emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council on Saturday. Pence also said leaders at the summit, which is focused on the collapse of democracy in Venezuela, saoid they support the missile strikes in Syria.

I was reading that the US was using Syria as cover to destroy Iranian chemical and weapons plants.
Mike is fully a Team Player. I don’t recall one incident where he said something that significantly disagreed with the President’s opinion. Mike has been totally respectful in his role, unlike many other appointees of the President.
Mrs. Pence has not been running interference either.
Trump’s statements from 7 years ago up until last week indicated he had no interest in Syria, in fact, he criticized both Bush and Obama for their wars.
So what is this all about?
Maybe somebody else will have the courage to say a couple more things.
And regardless of the consensus of most FReepers about his globalist world-view, I hated to see Tillerson go because I just plain liked his speaking ability and professionalism, noble bearing.
Now my gut instince is I would rather have Scalise as House Speaker. Is anything wrong with that over McCarthy?
Now Russia knows how our weapons perform. Well played, Vlad. BTW, I support Trump 100%.
yup - nothing like giving your secrets away for nothing
He already knew that they perform well but not how they work. They’re old weapons.
I think he’s implying no further action unless there are more chemical attacks. It dovetails with Mattis’s statement about it being a one-time shot.
Eat it, Lindsey.
No.
You want Jim Jordan, Freedom Caucus.
Pass it on.
Saudi Barbaria (who supports the Jaish al Islam headchoppers that staged this) said we must bomb Syria.
Agreed.
We must break the chain of Hastert--> Boehner --> Ryan --> McCarthy.

I’m beginning to think all this official moralizing exposes a strategic weakness by the US.
Al Qaeda, ISIS, Hezbollah and Iran now know what they need to do to effect regime change and chaos wherever they like.
I’m betting the cartels south of the border also noticed.
Chlorine gas and helicopters are not that hard to come by,.
Just ask a certain weird cult in Filthydelphia.
You make an interesting point, probably more profound than anything the decision makers considered. Taking it a few steps further....What if whites deviously in South Africa unleashed some chlorine and blamed the gov? Would we go in and do the regime change dance there? What if someone pulls that stunt in Venezuela, El Salvador, Saudi Arabia, or Bangladesh? What if there’s “proof of a suspected attack” in the West Bank, done by Israel? It could be like The Mouse That Roared on steroids!
Chemical weapons being used on civilians
That’s what
Because you and CNN say so.
Besides, Obama and Clinton having launched this proxy civil war isn't a little bit worse than a few alleged deaths by chemical weapons?
Or...what if the South African government does it and makes it LOOK like the work of disgruntled whites?
Or...what if Mexican Federales do it and make it LOOK like the work of one or more of the cartels?
What if Hamas does it but does a wholly convincing job of making it LOOK like Israel did it?
Or...what if Assad really DID do it, but made it LOOK like a more amateurish, resource-strapped bunch pulled it off, and that the video “evidence” cobbled together to support the claim that Assad did it was intentionally shabby and discreditable to further his attempt to redirect the blame where he wanted it?
