Horrible news, I loved listening to him interview people, he had such an entertaining show. I got through to talk to him a few times, he sounded way different on the phone.

He had COPD, don't know if that was the cause of death.
I am sad. I was just thinking about him wondering how he was doing. I listen to him every night on Tune-in streaming radio.

Bell’s bottom line was that his show was a friendly forum for both mainstream and sincerely held alternative views, but that he did not believe everything that his guests described. Perceptive listeners could usually tell when Bell did not sign on to what the guest was peddling.
