Actions by the United States and its allies in Syria would entail consequences for which they would have to bear responsibility, Russia's ambassador in Washington Anatoly Antonov said in a statement.......
Statement by the Ambassador of Russia to the USA Anatoly Antonov on the strikes in Syria
The worst apprehensions have come true. Our warnings have been left unheard.
A pre-designated scenario is being implemented. Again, we are being threatened. We warned that such actions will not be left without consequences.
All responsibility for them rests with Washington, London and Paris. Insulting the President of Russia is unacceptable and inadmissible. The US-the possessor of the largest arsenal of chemical weapons-has no moral right to blame other countries.......

Can't tell if that roadblock was rubble before, or rubble after. The whole freaking country is rubble...
I didn’t say they could challenge the US Navy.
I said they were the second best in the world.
Besides the US, can you name one better?
Bush’s invasion of Iraq destabilized the entire middle east. 15+ years later and we are still fighting there. Taking out Saddam also led to the rise of radical Islam (ISIS) and millions of refugees invading Europe. I’d call that a huge blunder. Oh, and as a bonus we got Obama too. All because W had it in for Saddam after Saddam tried to assassinate daddy Bush.
“Weve been invaded by a band of DU refugees trying to pose as Freepers.”
It sure seems that way.
They would still prevail against any navy but the US.

64 subs, half of them nuclear. Even their Kilos are pretty good compared to everyone except US.
Some of the best corvettes in the world punching way above their weight.
yep
It's more about Russia selling Assad the sos hardware that didn't work last night.
"Da, comrade Assad, we have many more of those anti-meesell batteries in Dubrovny warehouse. Weel have them here faster dan you can cop Soviet squat..."
Obama and Hillary though got the ball rolling to topple the middle east without thinking (or maybe it was intentional) what that would do and who would take their places in that power vacuum.
And Bush has the gaul to criticize Trump when he kept his trap closed through the disastrous 8 years of Obama? SMH.
Ain’t Amb. Haley great? She’s ripping Russia a new a$$hole.
Thanks for the link.
You’re welcome...
Wow. I guess so. NWO in full swing so to speak.
I hope you’re right.
Some were wondering if he was back on the sauce....
this is the sort of conversation I imagine around the Assad headquarters ...
“I miss the constant roar of cruise missiles.”
“So do I.”
“What can we do?”
“I know, drive over to the chemical weapons lab and grab a few canisters. We’ll let them off just when the journalists arrive on their bus tour.”
“Excellent idea, we’ll have cruise missiles above us tonight, Sayed.”
“And we’ll get rid of that awful chemical weapons dump too, can’t stand the sight of that place, brings down my house resale value.”
“Tell me about it, my place is still listed for $500 and no offers.”
I guess we will have to just agree to disagree as I do remember how bad it was with Saddam and the terror he caused. It might have taken a while to stabilize Iraq but it no longer is a big problem for the world.
I have to give the US military huge credit for not giving up, working with its allies in the region, taking Iraq back from the bad guys and taking the fight to the bad guys in Syria even when political mistakes were made.
