US will strike Syria
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
Never mind Israel, WE don’t want Iran stretching to the Mediterranean Sea.
Imagine coming out of Obama’s Syria quagmire with Russian AND Iranian naval bases there.
That’s very possible.
IMHO Iran’s days are numbered, and thus the IRG and Hezbollah’s future in Syria is not going to be big. The GCC or whatever it’s called headed by S.Arabia is doing pretty well, from what I read.
As for who the "base" is, only time will tell if this is just a small bump in the road or the start of a train wreck.
I asked myself that too. I've been here for 20 years. The only time I remember 20 posts to a page was when the server was having problems, and it was recommended to lower the number of posts on a page in your preferences so that the pages would load faster.

9. Also, a number of sources in #Homs have reported strikes with additional information that Russia air defenses participated in countering the strikes in #Homs
So maybe Russia air defense participated.
Amazing how so many on this thread are bats*** crazy and posting as thought WW3 had started, with US troops committing atrocities or something.
What do you know about FR in the old days, noob?
??? 0b0la refused to even listen to Flynn. What stinks is the whiffs of 0bola and his crew, but getting cleaner every day.
I’m all for other countries paying their share. It is past time that they pulled their weight.
As you can tell, I’m still angry about Serbia:)
Yes, Obama was a pussy. That much is true. But, in a situation like this, someone could very easily make a mistake that could light the match to the ultimate nightmare.
I was against both Iraq wars but they didn’t scare me as much because Russia and Iraq weren’t strong allies.
Syria and Russia are strong allies and have been for decades. This is why we need to tread lightly. I’m not saying we need to bow down to Russia but we don’t need to provoke them.
Naturally, I also worry about our troops. I don’t want them dying in vain and there is no need to die for Syria.
Why Syria? There are many atrocities going on in the word. Look at the White genocide happening in South Africa. Why aren’t people focusing on that? (Rhetorical question, we all know that answer)
What kind of bulls*** are you purveying? It’s clear from reading that the Chemical Corps is about DEFENDING against chem weapons. T
From your link:
1990-present
As a result of the 1995 sarin gas attack on a Tokyo subway and the growing concern about a terrorist chemical attack, the U.S. Congress passed laws to implement a program to train civilian agencies on responding to incidents involving chemical agents. Further, U.S. Army Reserve Chemical units began fielding equipment and training Soldiers to perform mass casualty decontamination operations.[33]
A 1996 United States General Accounting Office report concluded that U.S. troops remained highly vulnerable to attack from both chemical and biological agents. The report blamed the U.S. Department of Defense for failure to address shortcoming identified five years earlier during combat in the Persian Gulf War. These shortcomings included inadequate training, a lack of decontamination kits and other equipment, and vaccine shortages.[34]
Organization and mission
From 1952 until 1999 the Chemical Corps School was located at Fort McClellan. Since its closure due to Base Realignment and Closure in 1999, the Army’s Chemical Corps and the United States Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) School are located at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. There are approximately 22,000 members of the Chemical Corps in the U.S. Army, spread among the Active, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard.[citation needed]
The school trains officers and enlisted personnel in CBRN warfare and defense with a mission is “To protect the force and allow the Army to fight and win against a CBRN threat. Develop doctrine, equipment and training for CBRN defense which serve as a deterrent to any adversary possessing weapons of mass destruction. Provide the Army with the combat multipliers of smoke, obscurant, and flame capabilities.”[citation needed]
You suspect you did a lot more, eh, noob?
We’re not committing atrocities. We’re helping the Saudis commit them against the Syrians.
What atrocities are the Saudis committing? And how is the US helping the Saudis commit atrocities? Details, okay?
Those never “wait”.....knee jerks always....
I understand Russia was given a 6 hr. notice....also that the terrorists fighting near Damascus were replaced with Syrian Soldiers ...... That would explain why it was reported the terrorists were running away across Syria.
For crying out loud have you no idea what’s going on over there?
Follow:
Saudi = Sunni
ISIS = Sunni
Al Nusra = Sunni
Al Qaeda = Sunni
We are bombing the military of Bashir Assad. The people FIGHTING the Sunni.
ISIS and Al Queda are SAUDI!
That problem is in your settings. No one is spying on you. Put your tinfoil hat back on and go to sleep.
BS, Russia an Iraq were tight during Primakov's lifetime... ever since the Russians started using Iraq as a safe haven and staging grounds for their communist groups to undermine the neighboring Shah of Iran. Iraq was one of Russia's biggest clients [and Slobodan Millosovic's too] and Russia as well as France was looking forward to exploiting some incredible oil-for-food era oil contracts when the crap hit the fan.
If so you are sadly mistaken, and naive.
Everyone in ISIS and Al Qaeda is from Saudi Arabia.
And a few idiots from France that they let dig holes.
