most realize Assad is simply a place holder so there’s not a vacuum when the dust settles.....otherwise there would be a mad rush to see which Islamic Terrorist group gets there first to claim Syria as their prize.
Assad can’t continue once the dust settles.....Iran will still use ISIS and the willing warriors (Irans soldiers are indeed there) to oppose....this won’t be over from conflict.....like most of the middle east they fight each other equally as much.
Assad has a ridiculous approval rating from the Syrian people. If there is new leadership. It will be because some country is a bully and can’t mind their own business! In the least!!

You have to admit, though, that tonight’s claims that this is going to destroy the entire planet really sets a new level of handwringing.
1: Trump says last week we are pulling out of Syria.
2: Chemical attack happens in rebel stronghold just as they were losing.
3: Trump abruptly changes course and bombs Syria.
None of these three nations are protecting themselves from Third World invasions and Britain and France prosecute those citizens who speak out against Islamic terrorism. Britain will even send people to jail for fighting back against terrorists or common criminals.
