Ex-FBI Director James Comey savages President Trump in his bestselling new tell-all, “A Higher Loyalty” — but also skewers former Attorney General Loretta Lynch for her dubious handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe.
Lynch, wrote Comey, had a “tortured half-out, half-in approach” to the investigation, and he said he even considered calling for a special prosecutor to be appointed to oversee the probe because of Lynch’s ambivalence.
“But I decided it would be brutally unfair to do that,” he wrote.
“A world-class FBI team had investigated Hillary Clinton for a year, and all of them — to a person — believed there was no prosecutable case.”
Still, he described Lynch’s behavior regarding the probe as “very strange” in that she rejected calls to recuse herself from the case while not playing much of a role in the investigation.
“She chose a very strange position — that she would not remove herself, but that she would accept my recommendation about the case,” he added.
“In effect, she was removing herself but not removing herself. Again, very strange.

IF the ‘investigators of Hillary’s e-mails’ were “WORLD CLASS” as Comey calls them, this country is in more trouble than we ever could have imagines.
A private server—fake names on e-mails-—Huma’s computers holding those e-mails....It goes on & on, and I believe we only have seen the surface.
Comey might be sinking the entire FBI with his word usage.
Fine with me-—REPLACE all of them.
Label his book fiction.

In literally every instance or event which has been leaked about this book so far he has tried to take both sides of every issue. Things could be true, but he’s not sure, he wanted to do one thing but did another, and now Lynch was in but she was out. This guy is the epitome of prevarication and double speak.

As for Bubba not being blatant about trying to influence a decision, who does Comey think he's kidding. Bubba blatantly lied to the public, on national television, and without blinking an eye, that he "did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.". Bubba would do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted, and never be called on it. Untouchable, donchaknow.

The past year has shown us all what kind of asinine personnel was given high positions in government betwenn 2008 and 2016...Total failures all.....
Just the obvious contrasts between how Comey & co. “investigated” Hillary’s email case and how the Mueller team treats the fake “Muh Russia” case shows how ludicrous it is to associate Comey’s team with anything “world class” .... except maybe world class cover-up and obfuscation.

Personally I think the FBI, at this point, needs to be broken up into smaller agencies each focussed on a specific area of law enforcement. Bank Robbery, conspiracy/RICO, etc. Too much power consolidated in what is clearly a corrupted agency. Break it up, spread the power out with new leadership across the board.
He can't. Those records were either never written down or destroyed in routine maintenance.
