HAS the recent Facebook data scandal got you a little paranoid about sharing information on the internet? asks Jody Chudley, financial analyst for The Daily Edge, in Addison Wiggin's Daily Reckoning.
I don't blame you. After all, Facebook has access to some of your most personal information.
I'm talking about every message you've ever sent or been sent, every contact in your phone and even access to your computer's camera and microphones.
Now would you like to get a lot more paranoid?
Okay.
Let me introduce you to a company called In-Q-Tel.
This is a venture capital firm funded by the CIA. The stated reason for In-Q-Tel existing is to expand the research and development efforts of the CIA into the private sector in order to deliver innovative technology solutions that support the missions of the CIA and broader US Intelligence Community.

Just for fun, I [Addison Wiggin] searched for each of those investors and In-Q-Tel at the same time.
Here is what I [Addison Wiggin] found: Peter Thiel: Took In-Q-Tel funding for his startup firm Palantir somewhere around 2004. Accel Partners: In 2004, Accel partner James Breyer sat on the board of directors of military defense contractor BBN with In-Q-Tel's CEO Gilman Louie. Greylock Partners: Howard Cox, the head of Greylock, served directly on In-Q-Tel's board of directors. Now, I'm not saying that the CIA or In-Q-Tel had any direct involvement with Facebook.
FB is just another DNC stooge....corrupt and dishonest...
FB, Goog, Amazon, Craigslist, Ebay/paypalm all telephone companies, US mail
All vacuums for information for the deep state and NSA
***This is a venture capital firm funded by the CIA.***
And the CIA is funded by the American taxpayer, right? Congress oversees and approves the monies that the CIA is given. Hmmmm.
I am so thrilled by this news. (Sarc)
Facebook is a CIA creation and The CEO can’t code any thing.
US mail mail is scanned, OCRd, stored and...

How many times has Zuckerdouche been to the white hut between 2012 -16
The advancement of intelligence gathering used to bring me comfort when I believed eyes were turned outward, or at least inward for the enemies among us.
I still can’t completely subscribe to the idea that we (the people) are somehow the enemy of the state. Somehow I have to believe that on the whole, they’re still going after the bad guys. The slippery slope is that ‘on the whole’ is changing due to politicization. Who the state decides is a bad guy starts to be a worrisome question when it never used to be. Who you vote for or what campaign you donate to should never ever be.
It was a puppet show not under oath yesterday.
Maybe everyone has forgotten that “free” windows os and that “customer experience” update that let’s them know if someone has farted within 25’ of your machine?
Facebook is not the only app that knows all. Phone companies, ISPs, credit cards, banks all sell your junk left and right.
And don’t forget “5 Eyes”.
In-Q-Tel’s investments have often been to achieve “force multipliers” that would exponentially multiply the personal data in the global telecommunications data stream - which the NSA sweeps up all of, so it’s there for the CIA to go fishing in.
