Anyone catch the exchange w/I think Wicker..he asked Zuck if FB tracks user web activity even after they log off FB. Zuck said he didn’t know! Had to check w/his team. If true, that’s a “big f’n deal”.

They should ask him about geofeedia.com. If you look at their page now it’s clean of information. If you go back in time you find this:

https://web.archive.org/web/20140705145428/https://geofeedia.com/

Here is another one that ties in to the Facebook pipeline. For example, these guys allow law enforcement to pick a location then geofence around it. Once they do they can use keywords to monitor the data coming through the Facebook API. For example, a police department may use the terms “meth”, “420”, guns, whatever. Whenever they get a hit then the law enforcement people look at the Facebook messaging. The police may see a hit on a drug term then see that the people messaging about it are going to do a drug deal at a certain place. They go to that place and wait for the drug dealers then arrest them.

http://snaptrends.com/

Facebook has been allowing access to their data streams for YEARS.

There is a solution to the issues they are talking about, a very easy solution: OUTLAW ELECTRICITY

I am surprised with the amount of revenue why there isn’t a conservative competitor.

"Business posts sign in window. HELP WANTED: black people need not apply. Free market enough for you?"

Sen. Cruz: "Mr. Zuckerberg, is Facebook a neutral public platform, or is it a 1st Amendment exercise of your free speech?"

Zuckerberg: "[awww, snap]"

Trump loves Facebook. When Facebook came out with their “TV in your hand” technology Trumps people jumped all over it. Facebook is a VERY big reason Trump won. That’s why we are seeing this stupidity today, the swamp wants to keep Trump from using social media psychographic data to tailor his message to the voters in the next election cycle.

All this shit is VERY old. Bill Clinton used the same type of data modeling years ago to tailor direct mail. The guy that built those systems was Vinod Gupta, this guy:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinod_Gupta

The technology they clinton’s people developed would morph in to database systems that the Democrats used to gin up the “hanging chad” issue in Florida. That event was contrived by data modeling. They modeled data all over the country such that they could quickly generate groups of people (democrats) who would complain about “whatever” so they could fight against the Republicans.

Both the Republicans and Democrats have had extremely mature and exotic database systems for years. These have been built by aggregating various data from a large number of sources. Then Facebook came along and built a system (the users built it actually) that made the Republican and Democrat systems look like crap. Zuckerberg sold data to both sides. In the last election cycle Trump had people who built incredible psychographic systems using social media. Trump saw the incredible value of the Facebook video streamer. Trump wiped the floor with the other side using data and the Democrats didn’t even know it was happening. It was all hidden because the Democrats were excluded. People asked me if Trump was going to win, my reply at the time was “if anyone can answer that Mark Zuckerberg can right now”. Zuckerberg had all the metrics. He knew Trump was going to win. He HAD to.

The politicians are afraid of Zuckerberg. This guy isn’t going to be touched by the swamp. The swamp wants him on their side.

Z has served his purpose and now is expendable.

Left wing propagandists/political operatives disguising themselves as neutral cannot be tolerated if this Republic is to survive.

Q said we the people have more power than we realize.

Governments could regulate Facebook & Twitter, but what would happen if 10 million users sued for violation of the 4th amendment?

What would a $500 billion settlement do to their bottom line?

We have the power to banrupt them.

“HE NEEDS TO BE CUT DOWN TO SIZE.”

I think he knows he’s a “short schmeckel,” because he reportedly is sitting on a 4 inch foam booster pad! Someone should check out if he’s wearing elevator shoes.

Yup. Freedom isn't perfect but it's way ahead of whatever's in second place.

Blatant discrimination...

("discrimination" = freedom to choose)

Personal discrimination in the marketplace or anywhere else for that matter is an individual freedom with which the feds have NO constitutional authority to interfere.

If Cruz is the Constitutionalist he makes himself out to be, he should be objecting to this whole hearing.

Where in the h*ll does the Constitution give the feds authority to subpoena and question an individual about his enterprise? NOWHERE.

This is BLATANT TYRANNY.

Today Zuckerberg, tomorrow you and I and they don’t have to give you a reason.

IMO it’s because FB is a CIA tool and they are getting much of their funding from the taxpayer, not from ad revenue. Yes, they get ad revenue, too.

So a competitor would not have the CIA funding and in addition they would probably have the CIA actively trying to sabotage their existence.
