Has the California backlash against liberal craziness finally begun?

In a state consumed by conservation and environmental issues, one highly endangered species has long gone unnoticed and unprotected the California Conservative. Is it still possible to rescue them from the brink of extinction? Can their numbers be revived? And can they thrive here once again? While the nation continues to view California as a homogeneous voting block of individuals in lock step with an increasingly progressive liberal agenda, for Common Sense Californians up and down the left coast state, theres a sense that a different tide is rising. The ripple began in Los Alamitos where the city council voted to opt out of Californias sanctuary law. And it was followed by Orange County who voted to join the U.S. Department of Justice in challenging the states sanctuary city laws. This decision was echoed by the city of Escondido and later this month San Diego County will also vote to join their ranks in this federal lawsuit. Other municipalities are lining up to consider doing the same. California has always been the tip of the spear. Often the genesis of art, influence, ideas, style and entertainment, we also take the lead in ways that are less admirable with high state tax, high gas tax, high costs of living and housing, an out of control homeless problem in our urban areas, declining test scores in schools, increasingly inaccessible and cost-prohibitive health care, and many of our major cities often appear on lists of the least-livable cities in the U.S. A supermajority of Democrats at the state level has presided over a tragic decline in virtually every statistic and has championed expensive and detrimental ideas such as the multi-state tax, a failing high speed rail project and of course the most recent sanctuary state status.

Wishful thinking? Or is there some revolution brewing in the land of fruits and nuts? Thoughts?

One way for Californians to fight back against liberal craziness is to elect Judge Steven Bailey Attorney General.

Ask any voter & their representative/congressman/senator..... is doing a good job - it’s all the others that stink. So, they keep voting in these corrupt, communist a-holes.
Term limits has just moved these losers from state to county to city to.... They all keep getting recycled like MLB managers.

I start conversations with enviro-wacks like this...
Do you think that America should preserve its water, lands, habitat for animals, wild areas for posterity etc?
Answer from them: Yes, of course.
Me: How does importing millions of fertile low IQ people from the third world help with that?

I've always maintained that California could turn red again.
I'm old enough to remember when the Deep South was considered lost forever to Republicans.
Now it is a GOP stronghold.
So things change.

I don’t for the life of me see how wealthy smart people vote for liberals
My wife is excepted cause she’s a social worker in San Fran

Historically, when socialism fails, the answer is usually more socialism until the jackboots are in complete charge. Maybe I’m just a pessimist.

Since laRaza believes CA belongs to Mexico my inner smartass wonders if we should compromise with the reconquistadores. Give them the bay area, LA and especially Hollywood, and ALL THAT GOES WITH IT. Just leave us the Reagan Library, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Petersen Automotive Museum, and Jay Leno's car collection, and any art deco and mid 20th century architectural gems still standing in Amaheim. As a side benefit, all those overpaid mannequins in Hollywood who "promised" to leave the US if Trump got elected can finally make good on their empty threats.

The magnitude of the illegal alien problem in California is beyond the comprehension of someone who doesn't live there. Once you get out of the high-rent metropolitan areas, apartment complexes virtually everywhere are filled to the brim with illegals, often with several families living in one unit, and the whole thing subsidized through various ‘programs’. They work under the table, send the excess back to meh-hee-ko, and have a relatively expense-free lifestyle compared to someone “on the books”. They handle freight, clean up yards, change hotel sheets, handle processed food, and fill up prisons. The economy of California right now is absolutely floating on low cost illegal alien labor. And like the South a century and a half ago, they aren't going to give up their cheap imported labor without a fight.

My wife is excepted cause shes a social worker in San Fran Sorry, but how can you blithely and glibly rationalize that? You represent one of the most crimson-red conservative forums out there, one of the crucibles of American Constitutional Conservatism on the internet, and you are powerless to influence your wife?

It is a fight worth winning for the sake of our nation.

Notice how those concerned with overpopulation, going back to the days when "the Population Bomb" was a bestseller, are overwhelmingly WHITE? For that matter it's the same with environmentalism in general. Sure there's "organic" farmer's market that pop up in the the South Bronx, Newark, East LA, etc, and occasionally Nat Geo does a program from the African jungles showing the natives trying to save rhinos, elephants or whatever the endangered species du jour is. And even then watched over by White scientists from the US, Canada, Europe acting as so many "great White fathers". WWF, Sierra club, Friends of the Earth may as well be "Whites only" clubs. Hell, I see more diversity at a NASCAR race.
