That picture of the GIs and the helicopters is almost certainly a Dustoff mission of rescuing the wounded. I commend to all this Youtube video that combines "The Mansions of the Lord" and Ronan Tynan singing (John Langskov). God Bless all of the Dusties and SARs, theirs was and is a noble task!

I am certain that almost every airman, civilian or military, knows and loves "High Flight"! It speaks loudly to the souls who would 'break the surly bounds of earth' and soar of eagle's wings!

Colder in TN than both places. Only made it to 36 today with whipping wind giving us wind chills in the 20s.

My car's heater went out a week ago and it's not critical since our mornings are warmer but still want to get it fixed.

And, it's turned into a real toughie to fix, skinned knuckles and bruised hands notwithstanding, LOL.

I hope to finish tomorrow, not in a hurry.

Yuck! I know from hearing Hubby gripe about working on car heaters that it’s no fun at all. You have my sympathies.

Weather improving? Nope, not today. It feels like January, not April. Only got up to 36 today and the wind made it worse. I only stepped out once to toss cat food cans out and that was enough!

But it’ll slowly warm back up and by Thursday it’ll feel like April again.

And maybe all this wind that’s whipping all over the country will be gone by then too!
