Utah Senate hopeful Mitt Romney (R) said Thursday that he is setting his sights on the future, rather than looking back at his past criticism of President Trump.
Speaking at a question-and-answer session in Sandy, Utah, on Thursday night, Romney said he was planning to "look forward" on his relationship with Trump, noting that the president has shifted on certain issues.
"I look forward. I'm not going to look backward," Romney said, when asked by an audience member if he would criticize Trump in his Senate campaign like he did in a 2016 speech, according to the Deseret News.

"His domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe," Romney said. "He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president. And his personal qualities would mean that America would cease to be a shining city on a hill."
Trump hater and all around phony Romney refuses to comment on president Trump.
Looking backward would require him to confront the fact that he’s a horse’s ass.
He’s a Morman. His views can change faster than an intergalactic meteor! Y’all got it?
Romney is a loser. He is an ass. He is a liberal.
Does he ever look back to when he was elected governor of the most liberal state in the country?
Does he look back to when he was the first governor to allow queer marriage? Socialized medicine?
Well, dumb@$$ Rum-Knee, maybe you could start by apologizing for being such an ingrate when Trump backed YOUR campaign so generously.
Romney looks forward to being the Democrat in an R jersey from Utah stabbing the President in the back as often as possible, to take the place of the one from AZ.
What issues has President Trump shifted on? I haven’t noted any.
Mitt has been awfully quiet these past few weeks.
For him to do so, must mean he wants to keep a low profile right now. Because we all know Mitt likes an audience.
There was then, when Romney failed to achieve what Trump had achieved. Sour apples and spilled wine. The loser pulling an HRC on the Winner, POTUS-VSG Trump
This is now, still panting and salivating wanting to attempt the impossible on his own terms, saying nothing rather than saying anything which might stir a hornet’s nest.
NEWS FLASH FOR ROMNEY - Dream on
If coward Bishop Romney was a man, he would thank
President Trump (who unlike him, WAS chosen by the People)
for endorsing his carpetbagging, full throat lying,
ObamaCARE/RyanCARE/RomneyCARE whoring,
DNC-judge appointing, backstabbing, women-hating chimera.
He may have meant that after the election he probably began to see Trump in a different way. I know because it happened to me. I did not like the way Ted Cruz was treated, but when Trump won I said to myself, "Well, if he proves that he is pro-life, makes some great judge picks and is nice to Ted Cruz, then I think I will be able to jump on board." He did all three things so here I am praising Trump.
Romney has binders of excuses.
BULL SH**
LIES..
and FAIRY TALES...
that is what all professional politicians preach until they get elected..and go to Washington, D.C. and the stories all change...
nothing new...same old same old...Romney is nothing but a POLITICIAN..
He’s ball-less. A jealous has-been that didn’t make it.
And never will.
He did more damage in my state, Massachusetts, than any Kennedy ever did.
Well, Teddy did kill a girl, but he was a Washington DC employee, not a Governor here.
“I look forward. I’m not going to look backward,”
right. because it’s SO unfair to judge a politician based on the things they’ve loudly and publicly trumpeted in the previous few months.
one should judge a politician based only what they said today, right?
He’ll “not look backward” exactly how McCain isn’t looking backward. It’ll be war.
