This is Soros’ “first direct involvement” in Oregon.

This moron governor doesn’t understand how the deployment of the National Guard works. First, POTUS Federalizes the Guard in select or all states. Then he doesn’t request anything he issues deployment orders thru the SECDEF to the units activated. The operative word is ORDERS. He requests nothing from any Governor.
Soros once again interfering with the security of the United States. How much longer before we arrest this guy?

I always am impressed by politicians who put principle above all else. In this case, Gov. Brown put principal, in the form of money from Soros, above her obligation to support and defend the Constitution. Oregonians should be so proud.
The Guard has been heavily used in the WOT. Most of the time they have had volunteers who wanted some more active duty time. Now the job market is better and they may not be as anxious for orders.
Bill Currier is a terrific guy & he’s done very well as the head of the OR GOP.

I may be wrong, but as I understand, the president calls them up, but the state’s governors actually deploy them. Wasn’t there a stink during Katrina where Bush was slammed for not deploying the NG and supposedly it turned out the onus was on the governor.
Soros needs to be captured and sent to Gitmo.

Mr President: Federalize the Oregon National Guard and send them to the border first. Explain that they can thank their Governor for making it possible with her “high profile.”
As I understand it asking Govenors is a courtesy. There may be legitimate reasons a particular state can not.
But the POTUS can federalize the NG( hence the name National Guard} and over ride a Gov.
I hope there are enough Oreganians to vote her out of office
