The thrusting green shoots of early spring and visions of cotton-tailed rabbits confounding my wifes splendid Hungarian dogs by their acrobatic zig-zag jumping have incited me to make some predictions about this midterm-election year. Congress has given notice that it has effectively shut down, having passed its egregious omnibus-spending bill, as Senator Schumer and Minority Leader Pelosi welcomed Senator McConnell and Speaker Ryan back to the pre-Trump days of Congresss just rolling the pork barrel around with no serious guidance from the White House and unfazed by overwhelming disapproval ratings in the polls.
Eighty-five percent of Americans are currently contemptuous of the Congress, but they are not so angry as to become revolutionary about it, so the legislators, almost all of whom were subjected to withering ridicule by Candidate Trump, are radically divided. The House Democrats would impeach the president, for no cause, but for the fun of it and to immobilize him while the infantile nonsense of a Senate trial failed to remove him. This is the Maxine Waters/Jerrold Nadler/Red Queen Law School.

Thad Cochranes seat?
You’ve never stepped foot in Mississippi, have you?
Too wordy!
I did not read much of this article. Did not have to, and it is depressing. If anyone wants to charge Congress, and especially Republican Congressmen, with anything that smacks of low-minded skullduggery, they can shoot a bullseye aiming at any point on the compass.
I live in CA too........it sucks really bad being conservative in this liberal hell hole....but I’m not waving the white flag of surrender yet!!!!!!
No wont be that many, but since republicans think simply screaming democratsareall Pelosi will win for them they are going to lose a lot of pink and purple districts they would win if they would wake up and realize running a rove campaign in the age of Trump is a losing proposition.
They willlose the house, that I have no doubt if they don’t wake up
TN is not in trouble. That poll was registered voters. No registered voter poll ever reflects the reality and is inherently overrepresentative of Democrats.
First try EX-LAX MAXIMUM STRENGTH, eat the entire box, if that doesn’t work then go with the full enema....a shop vac might be needed. It’s obvious you are completely full.
Here it is for you:
So dependent have the Democrats become on these illegal-migrant votes, they have no apparent notion of their political vulnerability. My prediction is that the president will conduct an unprecedentedly strenuous midterm campaign, the Republicans will gain six or seven senators and retain control of the House of Representatives, a number of the prominent Democrats mentioned above will be indicted, and the congressional Republicans, with refreshed leadership, will be energized to deal with the presidents program. The Democrats have sown, and Donald Trump shall reap.
Thanks RDeL ..
The thing about that poll was 17 percent undecided.
I am hoping the President Trump will “federalize” the elections in November with his call for (1) jobs, (2) tax relief, (3) less regulation and, most importantly (4) doing something about illegal immigration.
On this last point I thank Joe and Joann Six-Pack have a dog in the fight and it will give them a clear path to get to the polls.
As always, just my 2¢
No, the Democratic Party isnt divided or in disarray
