The memo gives Mueller a more specific description of his authority and states that he can investigate Paul Manafort for any “crimes arising out of payments he received from the Ukrainian government before and during the tenure of President Viktor Yanukovych.” And that’s pretty much what Manafort was indicted for.
Here’s the weird part about this: The Rosenstein “secret” memo revealed in this week’s court filing is dated August 2, 2017. According to media reports, Paul Manfort’s home was raided July 26, 2017. So that means Rosenstein’s laid out the more specified scope and definition of authority for the special counsel investigation six days after Manafort’s home had already been raided.
What does this mean legally? Well, as always, the the legal experts are divided.
“There is something very wrong about that,” said Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz on Fox News Tuesday night, adding that the scope of the investigation should be clearly defined. “This special prosecutor is looking at everything. Where does it stop?”

The problem is all he will do is issue a report and send it to the DOJ to be reviewed as tasted by Sessions own words.Unless there is a SC there will never be and indictments and the FBI DOJ will just continue to meddle in election starting in 2018 and the big one 2020. Had dinner last Friday with a former high level FBI officer who was a high ranking official with internal affairs. He retired in 2013 because he was disgusted with what he saw going on. He knows McCabe and the whole cabal says they are all traitors. He severed his relationship with the McCabes when he left. He also knows Horowitz and Huber and says they are on the level and that the whole rotten cabal is running scared. You have speculation I have the facts. Trust me that everyone appointed by Obama was loyal to him. This is not a one-sided fight as too many of you are programmed to think.
So far to me , it looks like crimes that happened well before Trump with people connected to democrats at the time, other that Flynn's bogus process "crime".
As for Flynn, his plea agreement with Mueller is the eye opener as it overrides any non-disclosure agreements made during past administration and states he must tell Mueller of any past crimes he knows about, not crimes he knows on Trump campaign only. Not only that it exposed how corrupt the FBI was dealing with Flynn with the changing of the 302's(or whatever they are called) by McCabe. That in itself should make one ask if the whole Flynn fiasco was not used by Flynn and the administration so that Flynn could give testimony. There is a war going on in DC and everyone is playing games.....nothing is cut and dry anymore. How much of the hoopla is for show and misdirection how much real? I for one have never seen the likes of what is going on in DC and can not figure out what news is real anymore....Do I think Mueller is good...no, Do I know he is the evil villain people think in this story.....that does not make sense yet either.
