Adding to the jeremiads from the phalanx of skin-color pimps and harlots is Latonia Westerfield. I happened upon an article by Westerfield titled: Why Black People Dont Need Jason L. Rileys Help. (March 25, 2015)
Westerfield, as is typical with her kind, had her Hanes, Jockeys, Victorias Secret or whatever brand of unmentionables she wears in a Gordian knot because in her mind conservative Jason Riley had dared impugn the citadel of skin-color identity politics. The citadel Jason had besmirched was the cathedral of if youre black, youre a victim.
Rileys book, titled Please Stop Helping Us: How Liberals Make It Harder for Blacks to Succeed, was the cause for Westerfields apoplectic rebuttal.
Westerfield wrote: [Rileys] words are indicative of why in 2015, race and racism are still cause for black people to fill the streets in protest with their hands raised in the air, demanding that their lives be seen as valuable. This is because Rileys book doesnt say anything new, in terms of understanding and dealing with issues in black communities, but rather presents the same old argument that dates back to slave auctions black culture and, by extension, blackness is inherently defective, if the rise of other groups is any indication, black social and economic problems are less about politics than they are about culture.'

One thing’s for certain. That is one monstrous run-on sentence at the end of the excerpt.
Liberals have only helped blacks fail as planned.

Blacks have been, and still are, very willing enablers.
Yo, nobody expects blacks to turn into Republicans, but it’s unfortunate that their leadership doesn’t open a debate about the issue.
Poor blacks have to stop committing genocide on each other before they’ll be taken seriously.
“...Liberals have only helped blacks fail as planned....”
Blacks should also be reminded about who/what party was FOR SLAVERY and caused us to fight a civil war over the issue. Just sayin’.
They have a Ted like slaves - especially the black caucus. Except they are unable to see that their new slave masters are the DNC and the plantation is the Democratic Party.
Facts don’t matter anymore. Only the promises made and never kept matter. HUH?
From the Civil War to the Depression, blacks were Republicans. The FDR administration started the tradition of buying their loyalty to the party of the KKK.
Angry blacks are part of the liberal plan... if black citizens moved into the middle class democrats would lose control over them...
It's not a color thing. It's a human being thing. It's the way people act, function and relate to each other in society that makes them different. Not the color of their skin.
My friend Warren, stopped by my farm the other day to bring us some fresh white acre peas and sweet potatoes. We talked about myriad of things. From how the greenie disease is killing his and our citrus trees. We chatted about his crops and our cows.
He gave us his condolences for our son's recent death. We've had to take in our son's partner and their baby, our new granddaughter, 10 months old. Stressful time for us. About his wife's progress from serious injuries received in an auto accident. Stressful time for him. He left after we talked about needing rain for his crops and for our grass to grow.
I tell this story for a reason. Because it hits at the very heart of the so-called race issue whipped up by the democRATS in this country for their political benefit.
See, my good friend Warren and his wife are black and my wife and I are white. But the subject of race has never come up in our 10 years as close friends. We don't relate to each other based on our different races like the democRATS and race-hustlers want you to do. We relate to each other as people who have commonality in our lives.
And therein lies my point. We don't subscribe to this contrived "only-Black-Lives-Matter-and-I-suffer-from-white-privilege" crappola the democRATS are selling.
We're friends because he and his wife are our kind of people. Being black or white has nothing to do with it.
If you take the race-hustlers and race-baiters and the race-pimps out of the equation, race wouldn't be much of an issue. Because people would learn to relate to each other as human beings instead of different skin colors.

Obama set race relations back 50 years.
At minimum, Obama has made race relations more volatile.
When he got his hands on the wheel of state and started turning it in a new direction "to fundamentally change this country", he tried to explain the poor performance of everything he did by trying to convince us that this was the "new normal".
He did the same thing with race. It started with the Cambridge police acting "stupidly" against a black guy, to the Ferguson riots, to embracing BLM, and on and on and on.
All of this racial tension is the new normal he'd say.
Personally, I think people just got tired of his bad-tasting "new normal" medicine and figured we could do better.
Obama's two terms opened the door for a guy with a brighter outlook for America. Enter Donald Trump and MAGA.
Good summary.
Thanks.
Not necessarily. It seems that the more blacks that move into middle class status or higher, the more resentful and angry they get. Poor blacks generally don’t have the time to gin up excuses or hatred for Whitey because they’re too busy with other things. Historically, it’s usually the “middle classes” or above which produce the most radicals. Che Guevara is but one example.
