Parkland shooting survivor and pro-gun control activist David Hogg is now leading a boycott campaign against Fox News host Laura Ingraham after she knocked him for complaining about colleges that rejected his applications.
“David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it,” Ingraham wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning, linking a Daily Wire article. Her parenthetical: “Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.”
Ingraham’s tweet sparked a backlash in the media. Hogg responded by targeting Ingraham’s advertisers.
Hogg tweeted out a list of Ingraham’s 12 biggest advertisers and called on his followers to pressure the companies into boycotting Ingraham’s show over her tweet.

This POS is not smart enough to come up with this idea...he was put up to this. His “movement”, with all that implies, is starting to get me aggravated. The more the left becomes unhinged, the more they attack 2A. Of course were I them I would do the same thing if I were them because when the public wakes up and realizes what they are doing it will be too late to stop it.
Someone needs to give him a good working over and when that is over they need to utter some rephrase of the famous Dirty Harry line.
Buying their products is a good idea but tweeting them to show support for Laura is also good.
Just as we have always thought, the MSM creates the news by making sh!t up - in this case "creative editing to confuse". I find it a pity that we have to doubt everything we read. I find myself reading one article then immediately try to find it on other site of the opposite persuasion, just to verify. Total waste of time. Reading the article creates more questions and answers none. No one really knows what is going on. All web searches on subject are right leaning sites. All of that makes one wonder if it is a fabricated story.

By the way, is anybody else surprised — I am — that these schools haven't contacted David Hogg and told him he is now accepted? After all, he submitted his applications before the Parkland shooting. I would have thought his new-found celebrity status would have led, say, UCLA to reach out to him. Could it be that even academia can see through this fraud?

At the same time Ingraham brought up issues that have no bearing on the argument. That too was childish, snarky and well below the level of a person like Ingraham. She should have known better. He will lose on the issues but the personal stuff stepped over the line.
Will this boycott gather steam? Who knows. While I will not participate, you can never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. Laura- you did a foolish thing. And please, don't ask this ill informed child to be on your program - it will be a lose/lose for everyone involved.
I predict the least competitive of the four schools that rejected him will end up offering his a spot. I further predict he’ll never show up there because he’ll have become so addicted to fame that he’ll spend the next 18 months touring around, grandstanding about gun control.
