CNN host Alisyn Camerota on Wednesday confronted the author of "God and Donald Trump," questioning how he can continue to back President Trump amid reports of extramarital affairs.
"In order to receive forgiveness, don't you have to confess to your sins?" Camerota asked Stephen Strang, the founder of Charisma Magazine. "Isn't that a tenant of the Bible? I mean don't you have to own up to these things? You know, Donald Trump famously said he's never asked God for forgiveness."
Strang said that issue is between Trump and God, adding that he focuses on Trump's policies.
"He supports the kinds of policies that we think are important," Strang said, noting Trump has become a "champion" of religious rights.
Camerota shot back: "Isn't that a little bit like saying, 'Gosh, I really like Harvey Weinstein's movies, so I'm going to overlook what I know to be true about Harvey Weinstein and I'm going to support him and give him money for his movies?'"
ETC.

Bingo...
As much as they illegally spied on President Trump, the best they had was the Hollywood access tapes. Which was really nothing but vulgar locker room talk.
In the mean time Bill Clinton is a rapist and they didn’t care one whit about that.
The confession of sin is to G_D, not the press, dear lady.
President Trump makes them all insane. It is fun to watch.
Strang should have said, “When you here at CNN explain to me why you all gave Bill Clinton a complete pass for all of his sexual assaults while he was in elected office? Answer that and will tell you why I support Donald Trump.”
Alisyn Camerota is a huge embarrassment along with most of the CNN lineup. These interview questions demonstrate a deep and profound lack of understanding of Donald Trump’s appeal to his voters. As long as CNN holds this line, they will be as powerful a journalistic force as any middle school YouTube channel.
I saw that, too. I think tennet is the word they were after.
the CNN host seems to confuse Catholic, list every lie of every day in a confession booth weekly, to the Protestant, I was a heathen, please forgive me my sins, all encompassing admission.
Don’t you love it when atheists explain Christianity to Christians.
You do not have to repent to CNN to be forgiven your sins. The Priest will be sufficient.
People usually don’t say tenant when they mean tenet but it seems people who write prefer tenant or they can’t help themselves. The hand just has to do it..
So a Communist is preferable as President because the Communist has no morals to transgress and thus is not in need of any repentance but Trump, being some sort of Christian cannot ever be forgiven and must be forced out of the Presidency or at least one cannot vote for him because of charges made by someone of doubtful honesty about something that is said to have happened long ago and was not repented of by a public self flagellation and tearing of the garments.
The word “tenent” is a word that is not used as frequently now, but it means “doctrine” and I just found out that it only appears in certain dictionaries.
Tenant is, of course, the apartment dweller.

That’s a name not heard in some time. The older, funny men, are being replaced by the younger, not so funny.
Exactly!
The response I use is “Love the sinner. Hate the sin”
Absolutely. They used to be able to merely smear with innuendo or trot out the bimbos and a candidate would back off.
Nothing worked so they’ve brought down Harvey and caused others to tremble in fear that they’re next. All this just to show how ‘serious’ they are about protecting the ‘ladies’.
Thankfully, most conservatives have caught on and the alinsky tactics are backfiring.
