That certainly sounds like what would be done normally, but this case has been conducted “off stage”. I see the “lying to the FBI case” as just a screen that both parties are quite willing to hide behind. The substance is not legality; my guess is that it involves foreign relations with Turkey (Erdogan’s obsession with a coup involving the US and Fethullah Gulen).

Wasn’t Flynn’s agreement made pre-emptively, i.e., BEFORE he was indicted on ANY charges? I appreciate your comments about the E.C.D. and will try to educate myself on the subject. The E.C.D. might indeed apply, but it seems odd that the prosecutor would be thus constrained by a defendant reneging on a pre-indictment plea deal. In any event, Flynn’s son has not been indicted or pled to anything at this point, so that leverage remains. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out.

In the latter part of the article linked here, http://dailycaller.com/2017/02/14/exclusive-defiant-flynn-insists-he-crossed-no-lines-leakers-must-be-prosecuted/, it appears that there was a misunderstanding in that Flynn did not believe the expulsion of the diplomats was “sanctions.”

Was he not involved directly in the Anthrax investigations with Hatfill and the guy who was driven to suicide?

Enron case. Weissman withheld evidence. Overturned.

Got to that same dead-end.
Seems like Contreras hired Zero’s history scrubber.

Yep....these SOB's need to burn for this.

I'm old enough to remember when Bill Clinton dismissed all the lawyers in the DOJ when he got in office. I'm don't remember what he did with the other agencies but better similar shenanigans were also prevalent. I have wondered how many pieces of human refuse have been floating around the government since Billy was playing with his cigars and Monica in the oval.

From the article:

In December, Judge Emmet G. Sullivan ordered Special Counsel Robert Mueller to provide Flynn’s attorneys with any and all information that may have been withheld from the case.

So based on your "Entire Controversy Doctrine" comments, am I correct that you think this is why Judge Sullivan is demanding everything before deciding and cutting off Muellers ability to have another bite of the apple later?

If so, good for Judge Sullivan. It appears perhaps he has been through this same weed patch before with these slimy government hacks.

...the reason he pleaded guilty, in my mind, is because he is the utmost patriot, and needed to plead guilty in order to show that the McCabe/Strzok/Page shenanigans “caused harm.” If no one was actually prosecuted because of those shenanigans, their lawyers would claim it was all harmless deeds.

Flynn pled guilty so that the crimes of McCabe et al can be laid bare when the S-finally-HTF. His was the ultimate self sacrifice, for the sake of you, me, and the rule of law.

This is the conclusion that my private cabal arrived at months ago. Team Trump planned this sting in detail from the beginning. And like any successful deception plan must do, it has fooled most of his own people. Time will tell...

May God restore and make whole the honorable General Flynn and his family for all the evil they have endured.

If it is God’s Will, may he be our next president in 2024, to continue the process of permanently stamping out the bad guys. It will probably take 8 years of DJT and 8 years of Flynn.

After that, I’d be happy with a President Nunes. This man has exhibited so much courage, honor, and persistence to expose the corruption.

God Bless all of these patriots.

Want to stop this evil?

Every DO”J” lawyer who lies or makes a factually
false statement must be fired immediately, branded,
and lose his/her pension forever.

And then all attention shifts to Manafort, the DOJ, Mueller’s Special Counsel and the FBI. Where Director Wray, could possibly be in front of a Congressional committee to explain why his agents conducted themselves they way they did, why they wanted to play Seal Tm 6 during the warrant-when they could have just knocked on his door with an agent or two, why they took items protected under ‘Attorney Client Privilege’, so on and so forth.

Could be a very bad couple of months for the Mueller and his band of partisan, hack lawyers. May not be that bad a decision for the President to not put an end to this train wreck. Let the carnage and destruction just keep piling up and at the end, say, I Told Ya So.

Wiseman.

Enron and Lehman Brothers. Companies destroyed and people put in cells, because of his lying. Yet, he still walks free to terrorize the people.

Mueller’s liberal lefty pea brain just doesn’t understand. He can’t go on illegally ruining people’s lives without eventually facing a few ounces of hypersonic , boat tailed , FMJ lead.

Mueller’s time is coming.

He was going broke. On the state level, at least where I policed, when you took a plea, you admitted guilt to a lesser charge and waived your right to appeal. Not sure if that’s the case with the Feds. But, since he hasn’t been sentenced, the case was never closed so he still have options. The only thing that could have saved him, after sentencing, would be a pardon or evidence that comes out later, showing that everything the Feds thru at him was corrupt or, The Fruit of the Poisonous Tree. Which is what this seems to be.

I’d love to see him walk and then sue the living f*ck out of all of them.

The Prosecution has to show up with everything. They can’t add tidbits here and there. They charged Flynn with lying. They can’t now say, he lied-but he also did this, that and the other thing. They could try to indict him on another charge, emphasis on TRY. Once it’s found out that the new charge, was part of the old case, no bueno. But, this is DC, so who knows what set of rules apply.

Doesn’t say Contreras was presiding of the FISA case for Carter page.

I am hoping to find out that he was the approving FISA judge. That would confirm my speculation:
- first warrant rejected in June 2016 (not Contreras)
- Strozck waited for his buddy Contreras to cycle into the court before presenting the appeal (October 2016). Because of his relation ship with Contreras, Strozck knew when Contreras would cycle in and had given Contreras a “heads-up” on the appeal.
- It was worked out that Contreras would then approve the renewals by “fiat” because he was original approving judge; all Strozck had to do was push paper and phone Contrerars.

You want a “collusion” case...there it is.

I have no direct knowledge of this but Mueller was gong after his son so Flynn made a deal to end that. When the judge ask for “all” the information and that he would decide if it was relevant are not not Mueller. This judge had prosecutors withhold evidence before. Also his order take priority over the Flynn guilty plea. If he sees something he does not like are to prosecution did not give all the information to the defense. Not saying he will he could rule from the bench and over turn the Flynn guilty plea and set him free.

Yeah. This thing, from top to bottom, is ROTTEN TO THE CORE.

I get angrier and angrier with each passing day. I don’t watch the news or read papers, but I see them in passing enough to know they are nearly universally suppressing stuff like this and presenting some stupid unrelated thing about a tryst with a prostitute.

people keep missing one point on the judge. They keep saying “he” recused from the case. He “was” recused from the case. In other words the court that oversees this judge kick his butt off the case. That is a big differance
