The Turks-Ottomans were and are master manipulators. Masters of pitting ethnic groups against each other. They used the Kurds as shock troops to mass murder-kill Christian Armenians and Greeks in the early 20th century.

Do note that the perpetrators of the Armenian genocide (i.e. the actual killers) were, in many cases, Kurds

however to note, since then the Kurds have expressed sincere remorse and apologized and called it a genocide and begged forgiveness (and I believe Armenia accepted the apology)
