Former White House intern Monica Lewinsky is calling for a “cultural revolution” in how people consume online news so that “more shame" no longer means “more clicks” and more advertising income.
Lewinsky told hundreds of privacy professionals Tuesday “we need to communicate online with compassion, consume news with compassion, and click with compassion."
"Just imagine walking a mile in someone else’s headline," she said in a Washington speech that was contractually closed to the press.

I think most of us just want Monica to go away - we don’t care if she’s right once in a very blue moon.

Monica and David Hogg and so many others' opinions are meaningless. Like the Kardashians, our society seems to honor and respect people who are known to have zero accomplishments - we must listen to them because they're famous for doing nothing.

Agreed. As for myself, I have two daughters, I am happy for her. Glad that she does appear to be a survivor. Some men could understand the incredible power of a man like Bill Clinton. Perhaps many women can make allowances for her. Just an young girl at that time that's all.
She’s in her 40s now! She needs to go away. Donna Rice did; it can be done. Linda Tripp started a whole new career and is a millionaire and she got worse treatment than Monica did.

Who would have ever thought that she was concerned about unsavory things? So many apparently still admire her.
