Rep. Mark Amodei (R-Nev.) told a local news station that there is a “rumor” that Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) will resign soon, stepping up speculation about the Speaker’s political future.
“The rumor mill is that Paul Ryan is getting ready to resign in the next 30 to 60 days and that Steve Scalise will be the new Speaker,”

My vote is Ryan doesn’t run for re-election.
Proof: None. My gut feeling.
Ryan has a cherry-on-the-top position waiting for him that will pay him millions; he’ll take it. Irresistible for him. Tons of cash for him without dealing with the hassle of pleasing constituents. Win win for Ryan.
