DOTHAN - "Man, that's a brand new car," Reverend Kenneth Sharpton Glasgow told a bystander as he was escorted over to a Dothan Police Department vehicle Sunday night.
The car he was referencing was a 2018 Toyota Camry that was in the middle of a murder crime scene at the intersection of Lake Street and Allen Road. Glasgow indicated to the bystander that the Camry belonged to him, and the vehicle may have had damage from gunshots.
Glasgow, 52, wasn't wearing handcuffs, but he did ride in the backseat of the DPD vehicle away from the scene.
"We were ducked down in the car while it was happening," Glasgow continued.
Later in the night, the Camry would be just one of many problems for Glasgow. The same man who led a march against gun violence just 36 hours before was being charged for capital murder in a case featuring some of the worst gun violence Dothan has seen in months.
Glasgow walked Dothan's downtown streets Saturday shouting through a megaphone about bringing change to America's gun laws.

You can't make this stuff up.
The Left tells us guns are dangerous.... Oh wait - people are!
Oops! Puts the kibosh on the gun control push when one of your spox has been arrested for murder.
Yup, you can’t make this stuff up.
“You can’t make this stuff up.”
If you did, they’d call you a racist for casting such a negative light on Negroes.
Well, we know David Hogg’s father Kevin Hogg has a gun. Has anyone checked the ballistics of the bullets from the murder against that gun? That is a gun we know is connected to anti-gun rallies which is connected to this murder.
What state is this?
Only thing missing is the (not in the least) “Reverend” Al himself. I wonder when he will make an appearance, yelling about police racism and such???
Sorry. Dothan, Alabama.
Alabama I think only Dothan I know?
Resist, they much....
Bttt.
5.56mm
Thanks. Saw something on the website about Arkansas, but guess not.
Demonstrations to follow? LOL!
Apparently the Rev. tried to pretend that they were mere witnesses ducking low when in fact the shooter was his good pal sitting next to him in his own car! Crazy, you really can’t make this up. I wonder how many crime scenes the “Rev.” has been involved in over the years?? Seems hard to believe this is the very first time he decided to go chasing after someone who ends up dead....
Glasgow has been involved in several community movements since being released from prison. He was convicted on drug charges in the late 1980s. Upon his release, he founded The Ordinary People Society, a community and homeless ministry in Dothan. He has advocated for the restoration of voting rights for ex-felons and helped start Moma Tinas Mission House in Dothan, along with his mother.
Glasgow has referred to himself as Kenny Sharpton Glasgow on several occasions and is believed to be the half brother of the Rev. Al Sharpton, founder of the National Action Network.
Under Alabama law, murder committed by or through the use of a deadly weapon while the victim is in a vehicle is considered a capital crime. A person convicted of a capital crime is eligible for life in prison without parole or death.
With revs like this man and his half brother Al Sharpton, it’s easy to understand why the black community is so immoral and violent.
Did anyone check the trunk for weapons?/s
Just saw this story on the local Dothan news.
They interviewed the police chief but he did not give out much info. They did interview a Black Woman who lived near where the murder took place. Again, not much info.
Because they know with total certainty that they themselves shouldn't be trusted with a gun, they assume the rest of us shouldn't be either.
We talking about Agent Shakey @ Parkland?
