Hillary Clinton lost the presidency because of sexism, former aide Jennifer Palmieri says

Hillary Clinton's former communications director Jennifer Palmieri on Monday cited sexism as a key factor in why the 2016 Democratic nominee for president lost the election.

"Fundamentally, I think there's just something they find suspicious in a woman looking to succeed," Palmieri told NBC host Megyn Kelly in a conversation about Clinton's loss.

"I think that a man would have survived that [email scandal] and I think that there was going to be something in the campaign that ended, the emails, if it weren't the emails, it would have been something else," Palmieri explained.

"She's always been stepping a little outside of the box and I just think that's how it manifests itself, is that people, she vexes them, they don't know what to think of her," she added.

Hillary Clinton lost the election because she is Hillary Clinton. Doesn’t get much simpler than that.

yep, close to 100% name recognition, I'd say you're right on.

Well then it must have been democrat “sexism” because Obama the Clown pulled in more votes than Crooked Hillary.

I would say she almost won it because of sexism.

I thought she lost it because Trump got more electoral votes.

Yup, women are extremely sexist, glad she is finally admitting it.

> Clinton lost the presidency because of sexism

I actually agree - “sexism” at least cost her votes. For over a year one of her main issues was “sexism”: “Men don’t treat women fairly”. “Men don’t think of women as equals”. etc.

One of the most important duties of the president today is to deal with men like Putin, Kim, Xi, and almost any ruler in the mideast. And, after telling us that those men won’t take her seriously or treat her fairly, she asked us to elect her to go deal with them on our behalf. Convincing voters that sexism is a real problem certainly cost her votes.

The first woman president will not campaign on the idea that her gender will prevent her from doing the job. Voters are just as willing to accept a female president as a non-white one. But she has to convince us that her belief in “sexism” won’t stop her from doing the job.

Yes, true.

I’ve heard, but haven’t researched deeply, that several million voters, who had voted for Obama, voted for Trump rather than Hillary.

So, clearly such voters were not bigoted against voting for a black man, one who had minimal qualifications at that. Yet we are supposed to believe that all these “liberal minded” voters who voted Obama, are somehow bigoted against women and Hillary.

If a man with Hillary Clinton’s obvious health problems ever ran for president, he’d be laughed out of the campaign and would be the butt of late-night TV jokes for decades.

I remember shortly after the election, there was a university that staged a debate as a psychological experiment to see if Hillary lost because of “sexism”. The presenters staged a debate between two characters playing Trump and Hillary. They used the same phrases used by the actual candidates in their debates. However they switched the sexes. The “Trump” character was played by a woman. She used all the same mannerism and speech patterns as Trump. The “Clinton” character was played by a man. This character again used the same phrasing that candidate Clinton used.

The result is the audience still didn’t like the “Clinton” character even when played by man. They considered the character evasive and phony.

“Guadalupe began with the assumption that Trump’s aggressive behavior would seem even more unpalatable coming from a female candidate and Clinton’s informed responses would seem more authoritative coming from a man. But when the performance was staged in the Provincetown Playhouse in New York in January, the audience reacted in unexpected ways.”

College educated women for Trump.

White women overall were for Trump.

Married women overall were for Trump.

I think much of this nonsense, can be turned around and directed at Hillary and that kid Robby Mook running her campaign.

Considering all these issues, what does it say about Hillary and her campaign, that she was unable to overcome these alleged obstacles to election?

What does it say about Hillary and her campaign, that running against Trump, who they considered to be the easiest opponent to defeat, caused Hillary to stumble????

What does it say about Hillary’s people, that being aware of all these problems in the campaign, they were unable to shift gears and deal with them???

>>” they don’t know what to think of her,” she added.”

I know exactly what to think of her.<<

The lefts’s biggest mistake continues to be the thought “America would embrace us if we just make our message clear” while not understanding that they have done a MASTERFUL job of making their message PERFECTLY CLEAR and America REJECTS it.

It is when they disguise their agenda that the left wins.

This is beyond nonsense.

Hildebeeste lost because she was a horrible candidate with a horrible background running on a horrible platform.

Did I mention that she is generally horrible?

Pathetic. Truth is, if that email happened to anyone else, especially if they were a male and/or Republican, that person would be facing felony charges.
